P.O.V HER

I took one deep breath as I held the knob and it made a click sound, not giving myself time to chicken out. I pulled the door open... viewing???

.....Nothing...

I scratched the back of my head, frowning in confusion; So, I was panicking for no reason?

There was nothing inside, well besides a thick fog. Well thank Goddess, it was just fog and not a demon.

The room was covered with thick fog, no in fact let's say it was filled in thick fog. I couldn't make sense of anything in the room, not even the floor or the roof and I don't think I would dare to step into a room that had no floor.

What if this was another trick the spirits had planned? What if I stepped into this room and just fall right into the hellfire? The spirits were pretty clever.

But not that clever.

I stood there, in the doorway racking my brain trying to figure out, to understand the situation that was unfolding in front of me. I know the most unrealistic and unusual things happened to me though out my life but this.

This... has reached the level of 'What the fuck?'

"But okay, okay.... there's nothing to be afraid of, just go inside and see why this damn door appeared. If there is an actual reason for it being here"

Sounds like a plan.

Turning around and leaving this damn limbo space sounds like a plan too... I mean... I could just ignore it... As I had suggested earlier and hope it disappears.

Worked with half of my problems.

However, I wasn't going to do that. Why? I have been feeling a strong urge to go inside the room. What made you think I opened the door in the first place?

Because I felt a strong urge to go inside the room and just... Well and just what?

'I don't know actually'

What sense does this make? None... I know.

I must be out of my damn mind...

"I mean yes you are" I mumbled,

I exhaled preparing myself mentally as I slowly took a step inside thinking maybe I will be blocked by (I don't know an invisible wall?) But no, I walked right through just fine, Normally I would feel the ground I was stepping on when I walked in a room like everyone else, but no I couldn't feel it here, so I was right about it not having the floor but wrong about falling to my death.

If there's no ground in this strange room, Was I walking or flowing?

I tipped toed slowly further into the room leaving the door open of course. So that if something jumped out of no way to attack me, I would bolt out of here without worrying about opening the door. That's one thing I learned in horror movies. "ALWAYS LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN" and other things like 'Not going into the forbidden and strange room' you know the casual that will always lead the characters to their deaths.

Very similar to what I was doing right now.

I squinted my eyes trying to see if I could see anything in the thick fog but I was failing miserably. The fog covered everything completely to the point where it looked like clouds filled the room. I stopped to look behind me checking if the door was still open. I waved my hand, the fog moved like it was a cloud of smoke.

Nonetheless, when I was still trying to sense out of the room, I spotted two red spots glowing at a far distance from where I was. I rubbed my eyes to see if I saw it right and I did see it right, there were two red spots in a far distance. They glowed within the fog in my direction or not I wouldn't know but they were facing my direction.

"Hello" I decided to call out, listening closely in case someone answered me but no one replied, "Is anyone there?" I asked loud enough for anyone to hear, I expected to at least hear a human voice calling back but instead what I heard was a low animatic growl. I stopped walking and then observed around me to see if maybe the animal might have been somewhere near me but all I saw was the fog and the two glowing red spots further away from me.

This was the part in the horror movies where I would be yelling at the characters to turn around, run and leave the place! And that's exactly what my instants were doing, yelling at me to turn around, run never look back, shut the door and never open it again but instead, I was doing the opposite, I was moving closer to the glowing red spots. I must have been out of my mind, but I was drawn to the red spots, I couldn't control my body anymore it was moving towards it on its own.

I can feel my subconscious throwing popcorn at me and yelling, calling me stupid and other insults.

As if something was clearing up the fog. Slowly, the fog started to clear up on its own and I could see what was in the room and what was ahead of me but before I could observe anything else in the room something caught my attention that made my whole-body freeze, turning stone cold.

I froze on my spot with my eyes widened, my mouth slightly open because of what was further away from me. My blood felt as if it was dropping its degree as a cold shiver ran down my spine. This was one of the most disturbing, blood-curbing, terrifying things I have ever seen in my life, and I thought the ancient evil spirit I saw almost two years ago was petrifying but this one gets the Golden award.

Further away from me stood a huge Monstrous looking animal or beast. I wasn't sure and I don't think I cared to know which was which, all I know was that it was monstrous and huge and black very midnight black, and it had thick pure white (very thick might I add) saliva sticking out its mouth. Its eyes were glowing very bright red. It was growling at me in a very blood-curbing way that made me want to run for the hills for my life. However, I was paralyzed with fear.

My brain refused to faction and help me get out of this situation.

My subconsciousness was telling me, yelling at me to run for my life and don't look back.

However, I couldn't get my body to move or anything. I felt as if I was rooted and frozen on the spot, I stood with my gazes glued on the beastly-looking creature thing ahead of me. Even though I was frozen in place, I could still feel myself trembling in terror with cold sweat dripping down the side of my face. Slowly the devil's child started to stalk towards me growling the thick purely white saliva.

How can saliva look that white? Also, be so thick?

'I don't think that's what you should be worried about?'

The way it was stalking me as if it was a predator that has find its prey. A hopeless, powerless, very terrified prey that wasn't even running for her life.

If I happened to be torn apart in a nightmare/dream or whatever this is supposed to be then.... oh well at least I wasn't dragged to hell as I always predicted.

Suddenly, my legs decided it was time for them to work with me when they moved backward creating a distance between the beast and I, that was trying to close. When it took a step, I took two backward never breaking eye contact. It went on like that for a while until, I think, it figured it was enough then it started sprinting towards me. I don't know why I thought running backward was a good idea, but I was doing it. I didn't turn around. Oh, no I kept walking backward as if I had another pair of eyes on my neck to locate the door so I could run out of this room.

The unfortunate happened when I stumbled on something, and I fell flat on the ground with my butt. Seeing my defeat, it took that chance and lunged at me. I raised my hands to protect myself releasing a horrifying scream...
