There echoed a scream from Mei's room which woke me up and gave me the instinct to get out of my room, I rushed to Mei's room to see Aunt Ming freaking out.. I panicked with her, "What's wrong, Aunty?!" flower petals popped out of nowhere and fluttered around me
"Where's Mei-Mei?! Tell me where Mei-Mei is!!" she gripped my shoulders causing it to hurt, in defense, vines grabbed Aunty's hands before tugging her away from me before I stumbled on the ground, "I DON'T KNOW." I held my shoulders that ached,
"...Y/n.. I'm so sorry.." Ming tried to approach me but I flinched.
A thorn bush with roses formed "Don't come near me." I backed away from her slowly "Let me make it up to you, I might know where Mei-Mei is..." Aunt Ming held her elbow with awkward tension.
IN MING'S CAR
There was nothing to say. I waited till we arrived at Tyler's house, The car parked in the driveway before me and Aunty walked near the gate only to hear kids fighting?
"Take it back! Don't talk about my family like that, you little brat! I hate you, I hate-" Mei-Mei was cut off by me splitting them up "Mei-Mei, stop!" Aunty yelled as I checked on Tyler's scars.. "What is going on here!" she shrieked as Mei-Mei realised what she had done.
Tyler started crying "I'm sorry. Just, get off of me. Please.." Tyler sobbed; I let go of him before glaring at Mei-Mei in disappointment. She lowered her head, devastated by her actions..
"I cannot believe you would let your daughter do this!" "Do you understand what she did to my boy, uh!" Both of the parents argued with my Aunt, I avoided everyone's eyes "All right, party's over." Tyler's dad said before slamming the door shut. Aunt Ming looked back at Mei and me before walking closer, "I can't believe you girls would use her like this." she growled the three kids, taking me by surprise.
"Aunty! You're not getting the-" Aunt Ming hushed me, raising her hand at me with a glare "Do I need to tell your mother." she used that card as I silenced myself.
"I knew you were trouble. Putting all these thoughts into Mei-Mei's head, Parading her around! Now she's lying, sneaking out. She attacked a defenseless boy! You think this is a joke?" "Do you know how dangerous this is?" Ming continued while guilt built up in my stomach "We didn't mean to, we just wanted to see 4*town.." Miriam said with respect which made Aunt Ming angrier
"4*town! You manipulated her for a bunch of tacky delinquents?" Aunt kept with the situation "No! She wanted to..." Miriam tried to tell her but was cut off rudely😒
I felt the anger and guilt making me dizzy in the head "Don't you blame her! She is a good girl, and you've taken advantage of her." Aunt replied while hugging Mei, I folded my arms and rolled my eyes (still not speaking because of my mom)
"Mei, Y/n, Tell her." Miriam turned to Mei-Mei who seemed to be stressed at the problem she caused and me as I flinched at the girls' gazes "I'm sorry..." I looked at Miriam sadly, she nodded knowing I didn't want to disappoint my mother more so she looked at Mei-Mei. Her quietness was an obvious rejection "What?! Dude!" the girls felt betrayed as I noticed the flowers in my hair, sprouting slowly.. I wiped the tears that were falling "Come on, girls." Aunt Ming reached her hand towards us both. I furrowed my brows and walked past it in anger "Don't even try."
I said before passing her with a scoff as Aunt Ming started feeling guilty..
