The two children happy as ever playing together at first glance you would think that their friendship would last forever, the older children said that things always happen but the two children ignored it and loved being with each other at all times
"One more time haha!" A high-pitched voice said.
"Awwwh! C'mon when is it my turn?" A disappointed voice said.
"Don't be so sad Eggar there is always next time! Besides you promised that you wanted to draw me swinging on the slide right??"
"I did but-"
"No buts! A promise is a promise and if you break it you get a bowl of ice water dunked on you."
"Fine.. Only because I want to okay?? Not because of your stupid little request Y/N."
"Hehe.. We'll always be best friends!"
"Yeah yeah just let me play on the swing!"
"Young Edgar your mom has said it's time to go home."
"Ah that's my bodyguard Y/N time for me to go. You should too. bye bye!"
I never thought that a simple goodbye would be the last time I saw him.
"Day 2...." Y/N said with a sad voice
They had been counting the days Edgar didn't come to the playground and had to play alone. Unfortunately a week has passed and still no sign whatsoever despite their mother's being connected.
"Y/N?? It's time to go to school!" Y/N's mother yelled desperately wanting to see them off on their first day of highschool.
"Yes mother!"
"Here's your lunch. Awww how long has it been?"
"C'mon mom this same moment is gonna happen again during college..."
"You wouldn't know a mother's feelings.. anyway go to school now you wouldn't wanna be late~"
Y/N walks confidently to school hoping for nothing but the best for the rest of the year.
"Hello class as we may know this is your first day of highschool and I wish you all success by the end of the year, please make sure to be nice to your classmates I am Miss Mary I'm gonna be your homeroom teacher let's make sure to get along splendidly."
Y/N feels hopeful and sits next to a pinkish hair person and a person playing with mechanical things. Is this safe?
"Hey I am Y/N! And you are?"
"Heyyyyy I am Fiona! And this little fellow beside me is Tracy, she's quite the technology person."
"That's incredibly cool! I'm sure we can be great friends."
"Of course! Anyone is lucky to be friends with the gorgeous girl around here. Fiona~"
They sure are confident. Wish I had that kind of confidence but they're really kind so I'm not saying anything.
"Uhh... This is my new car robot thing? Y/N could you do me a favor to test it out in lunch break?" Tracy asks.
"Ah sure! I'd be happy to help."
The ring bells and just like that. The first day of highschool for Y/N passes smoothly.
