"Please master Edgar you have to attend this business meeting. Your father asked so" the assistant tried to convince him.
"Didn't I already tell you? These people are selfish and bad for the company therefore I don't accept this invitation." A slightly deeper voice spoke.
Edgar was gonna enter school mid-year despite being incredibly busy. However he had only realised how hard it is to chase a dream too quickly and resulted in losing his childhood, experiencing the pains of an adult at a young age.
"Do you need anything else Young Master?"
"No, I don't need anything else. I can handle things from here."
"Please feel free to call if anything."
Edgar was highly praised overseas as well as among higher-ups in multiple businesses for his art and going back to his home country for school was the best choice so he wouldn't be very suspected.
On the other hand Y/N became a popular person in school and has a decent friend group inculding Fiona,Tracy,Naib,Luca and Martha. Y/N is basically living the dream life of a high schooler.
"So this is the school?"
"Hey there! You're new right? I can show you around the school." A feminine voice talked
"And you are?"
"The name's Vera Nair. I was told by the principal a new student is coming and I know all the ways in the school so here I am."
"Ahhh... Okay kindly show me round."
"Actually before that what's your class right now?"
"I have no idea"
"Haha- then we know our destination. To the principal!"
"Edgar Valden correct?" Principal Jack spoke gently.
"Yes, sir"
"Here's your timetable. I hope you have a good time."
Vera shows Edgar around the school and they both end missing their classes so they rest at lunch break.
"Aw man.. am I gonna get in trouble?"
"Probably not, as long as you weren't going around doing dumb shit then they wouldn't punish you." Edgar claimed
"Quite harsh... My teacher barely ever believes excuses. But if you go with me he might believe it." Vera chuckles.
"Sure"
"Perfect! I'd be more than happy and honoured if we became friends lovely."
Edgar ignores that last sentence.
"Here's your class Edgar! Make sure to make time for your new friend~"
"Anyway..." Edgar sighed
"And so- oh? Welcome our new student Edgar Valden, I've been expecting you"
Wait that person... Looks slightly familiar. A little too familiar.
"I feel like I saw this guy before overseas?" A classmate said.
"I don't know he looks like a freak." Naib replied.
"He looks kind what do you mean??" Fiona replied back.
Despite all of these comments Edgar didn't pay attention to them. But only Y/N, they however didn't seem to react to Edgar being near them after so many years.
"Please sit behind Y/N."
"Ah yes. Thank you."
Y/N didn't even pay the slightest attention nor suspect that the man is their childhood friend.
