Pavel:"It's so late out, I should go to sleep now if I want to wake up for school tomorrow"
He puts his phone down and looks at the clock. It's 2:38a.m. As he gets comfortable to fall asleep he hears a
*ding ding ding*
He jolts up to see what kind of dumbass texts him at this time at night.
Pavel:"a friend request?"
*Cain Sato has added you as a friend*
Pavel:"Who's this motherfucker? I'm TOO tired to deal with this"
*Cain Sato has been added as a friend*
Once again, he put down his phone and got cozy in his bed. Falling asleep in less than a second.
*ding ding ding*
*The Next Morning*
As he was getting out of bed he saw he had a new notification on his phone.
Pavel:"I've got to hurry up before Amara yells at me again. I'll check it later."
He does what any teen does in the morning, changes his clothes, brushes his teeth, and eats breakfast with his little sister. After breakfast, he's barely making it through the day and it just began. Wobbling to the closet he grabs his, and his sister's jacket and backpack.
Amara:"hurry up were gonna be late, ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!"
Pavel:"PIPE YOUR VOICE DOWN, IM OLDER. Besides, we're not gonna be that's late it only...."
He grabbed his phone out of his pocket to check the time. He saw that Cain had sent him a message he had yet to open. Looking back at the time it's....
Pavel:"It's only 8:23 will make it If you don't complain."
Amara:"Then let's leave NOW...and don't forget to lock the door."
The 2 of them get on their shoes on and leave the house. Pavel locking the door behind them. As they walk down the sidewalk Pavel thinks about Cain.
Pavel: Who is this guy? What does he want from me? Why did I even add him back? I only add people from my class. He's probably one of Tobi's friends from the high school. I shouldn't mess those kids.
Amara:"Why the fuck are you staring at the floor for? Thinking about your hubby girlfriend?"
Pavel:"DON'T SWEAR INFRONT OF ME."
He rolled his eyes and looked at Amara jn a disgusted face
Pavel:"I don't even have a girlfriend...I'm just tried...I didn't get much sleep last night...I HAVE TESTS TO STUDY FOR UNLIKE YOU."
They arrived at their school. The 2 of them go though thier separate doors because their school is dived by grade. They walk their different ways without saying a word or looking at eachother. Pavel had always had to double for a babysitter for his younger sister. Even though they're only 2 years apart.
When Pavel looked up from the ground he saw Tobi waving at him. He quickly ran over to meet him.
Pavel:"Hello"
Tobi:"Just a hello? What's up with you?"
Pavel:"Im just not in the mood today,OKAY"
Pavel knew he raised his voice more than he should have but, he tried to play it off.
Tobi:"Are you okay?"
Pavel:"Of course, why wouldn't I be"
Tobi:"If they're is something you want to talk about, you can tell me"
Pavel:"there's nothing to talk about"
Tobi and Pavel walk in school. They make their way to their lockers. Having all their school things with them now they headed to class.
Pavel's and Tobi's first class was math. They had a really boring teacher. She was kinda weird if everyone didn't already notice.
Pavel sat down at his desk and pulled out his notes. Today wasn't anything new, it was only a work period.
As he was finishing his work. He couldn't help but think...
Pavel:Cain is a really pretty name. Isn't Cain a girl name? I hope she's really pretty. Nah, Cain is a boy name. His last name is Sato. It sounds very Kazakh. Maybe he's from Kazakhstan? Middle eastern people are weird. Should I reply to him? I didn't even open the mess-
Mrs. DiCurzio:"Pav's what you day dreaming about?"
In a confused tone
Pavel:"ummm, YES, what'd you want"
Mrs. DiCurzio:"well you seem to be staring off into space, Do you have something on your mind?"
Pavel:"nah...I'm fine...I just didn't get enough sleep last night"
Tobi stared at Pavel with a worried look in his eyes, then he turned away and started looking at the floor
Pavel: maybe that's a cute guy, WAIT NO THATS GAY BRUH. I gotta keep my straightest you know. If he is cute...no homo
The rest was a blur. Math class, then ELA, then Jazz Band and the end of day he had P.E.
Physical Education
Tobi:"PASS TO ME"
Peyton:"IM OPEN"
Jaxson:"BLOCK HIM"
Then Jayden grabs the basketball out of Pavels hand. He shots and scores for his team, winning the game.
Ms. L:"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
Peyton:"WE LOST THE GAME BECAUSE OF YOU"
Pavel:"stop yelling so much"
Tobi:"He's been out of it since morning"
Pavel:"I'm going to leave first today"
He went to go get changed. After gym he waited for his sister and they walked home together, in silence.
When he got home he washed up and sat in his bed.
He picked up his phone,
