Hailee pov:
Shit I hope she didn't hear me say I love you. Shit!
I felt y/n shift a little. I sigh and turn off the tv. I try to fall asleep but I can't stop thinking about how I said I love you to Y/n!
Eventually I do fall asleep but it was after about 20 minutes of laying there regretting what I said.
Time skip
I woke up and looked at the time on my phone. I had been asleep for about 4 hours. We had around 10 hours left of the drive.
Y/n pov:
I woke up to see Hailee sitting up and mumbling something to herself. "Hi love." I said making her turn towards me. "Hi," she looked nervous.
"Is everything ok?" I ask her grabbing her hand. She pulled away. "Yea everything is fine." She said standing up.
"If this is about how you said I love you." I started she immediately turned around. "It's fine I didn't mean to say it I just got caught up in the moment." I cut her off with a kiss.
"Hailee, I love you too." Her face turned bright red. "I wasn't expecting that." She said I immediately recognized the quote.
"I love you more than anyone or anything and you need to know that so well that you next doubt it that you feel it in your bones. And if it takes telling you every day I'm willing to do it." I say quoting her character Emily Dickinson.
"Y/n where is this coming from?" She said. "It's coming from my dirty little heart." We both laugh and I kiss her. "But I truly mean it. I am in love with you Hailee." She kisses me again.
"I have never felt love like this." She said as we pulled away. "That's because it's never been from your soulmate." I say with a laugh.
Time skip
Hailee pov:
We arrived at y/n's house early in the morning. "I'll see you tonight." She says giving me a small kiss before running to her front door.
I got home and flopped onto my bed. I hear my phone buzzing. I pick it up, y/n is FaceTiming me. I answer.
"I have a crazy idea. And you can totally say no if you want. But I just got the ok to start recording my new album. But I want to take you with me."
I nodded, "I'm guessing there is a but." She nodded, "the thing is, the studio I record in is in New York." I let out a sigh. "Wow, New York." I say she scratches the back of her neck.
"Yea, I know that would be a big commitment. But you let me come with you on your tour so I thought I could do something nice for you. Like take you to New York."
I think for a moment. "I think that would be nice." She lets a big sigh out. "Ok good because I already bought your plane ticket." I laughed out loud and y/n chuckled a little.
"Ok, so when do we leave?" I ask her, she looks away from the camera. "Umm 2 days." I'm a little shocked at first but smile. "Ok not much of a break but I'll be ok." She smiled, "ok well I have to go but I'll talk to you later ok?" I nod.
"I love you." She says masking me blush. "I love you most." I say before we hang up.
Time skip
Y/n pov:
I put on a new outfit, just something comfortable. Hailee is coming over and we are going to make some dinner then watch a movie.
I went into the garage to get the meat out of the fridge before Hailee got to my house. When I came back inside I heard a knock on the door.
I set the meat down on the counter and wiped my hands on my apron before opening the door. "Hiiii." Hailee said, giving me a big hug. "Hi love." I said, hugging her back.
We shared a small kiss before pulling away. "Let's cook, I'm starving." She said taking her shoes off. "Ok then." I said as she dragged me into the kitchen.
Time skip to after dinner
We both were stuffed. "That was amazing, thank you y/n." She said sitting down on the couch. "Thank you." I said holding her hand. "So what movie do you want to watch?"
She thought for a moment. "I'm not sure I want to watch a movie." It takes me a moment to realize what she was talking about. "Ohhhhhhhh." I said out loud she shook her head.
"Oh. Right now?" I say she nods "on my 5,000 dollar couch?" She shook her head. "Well let me show you to my room." She smiled as we stood and and walked to my room.
