"The last thing I remember was falling asleep on you." He finished and looked at Roman. "A couple of days we all have just been waiting," He stops and walks to the bed. " We don't know what happened but I know that you can come home today." The doctor said while walks into the room. The doctor asked Roman to leave so he did. In just a couple of minutes, they all were in the car and going back home. Roman hasn't said a word since he left the hospital room that had held Virgil. But he has his hand grasped on Virgils. Roman put his head on Virgil's shoulders. And before he knew it he was asleep. Patton taped on Logan's arm like a kid. "Look," he said pointing at Roman "He's finally sleeping!" Virgil's eyes were sad. "When was the last time he fell asleep?" Virgil asked in a voice that sounds more like an order than a question.
Patton turned to face him. "4 or 5 days." He said with worry. Oh, Virgil mouthed. And looked at Roman now seeing the dark bags under his eyes. Now seeing Ro was still wearing his hoodie. Virgil shifted to make himself more comfortable by leaning on the side of the seat in the car. with the back of his head leaning against the cool glass. Roman felt the warmth leave and he wined. Virgil kinda smiled and pulled Roman close. Putting Roman's head on his chest, playing with his hair and the soft breathing of Roman. It calmed Virgil.
Roman woke up in a bed shaking a little he smiled. Must have all been a dream he converted himself with his blanket. Yeah it must have been a dream but deep down he knows it wasn't.
