Countryside Stars | Turning Red Aaron T and Z AU

Chapter 8

         Z had fell asleep reading his book. It wasn't even late in the day, it had only been maybe 2 hours since they all got finished with breakfast.

  Z was startled awake by the sound of a bump coming from downstairs. He slowly opened his eyes to see that T had already left the room at some point and it made him feel a sense of loneliness. Like when you fall asleep during the day and wake up at night burning up with the tv off.

    He turns to his side and stares at the wall on the other side of the room. This is boring. He immediately gets out of bed and decides to find the others. Opening the door to his room he can hear laughing from downstairs. Each step he takes down he can obviously hear his bandmates' voices.

"We'll good morning sleepyhead" Jesse says greeting Z to the living room as Z sat beside T on the long Sofa.

"We were just talking about how our shows usually go!" Tae said smiling as Nessie and Clark were so intrigued in the life of the famous. They couldn't understand how people could handle being in the public eye so much.

"I could never allow so many people knowing my name, the thought scares me" Nessie says sipping her coffee.

    "It's not to bad. Gotta love all the attention" Robaire replies with a smirk.

      
     It was mid day, So the boys didn't know what to do.
They had already helped with the animals so Most of them decided to go back to their rooms. T however wanted to go outside. He didn't have his usual overalls on. Instead he wore casual cloth shorts down to his knees and a sleeveless shirt with the sides cut fully down Showing off his side profile.

      ( I might start calling T Aaron, so if you see The name Aaron I'm talking about T)

   Aaron liked nature for the most part. Minus the animals that could bite him, sting him, make him scared. So basically any animal to be exact. So flowers was a good part of it. He wanted to pick flowers for Z, just to get that small smile on the older boys face.

Cringe. Is all Aaron could do to his thoughts. He bent over to reach for some pretty blue flowers.
They looked illuminating even in the light and it was breathtaking. It wasn't weird to pick flowers for your best friend right? Nahhhh just bros being bros.

   However Aaron could admit that he liked Z a lot. He just didn't know if Z for sure reciprocated the same feelings. He knew he heard that groan buttttt.....

   Aaron got lost in his thoughts as he carried the flowers back to the farmhouse. He opened the sliding screen doors to see that Clark had been taking a nap on the couch and Nessie was watching something on the T.V.

     Aaron stopped before he reached the stairs and turned around to race towards the kitchen and snatch a biscuit from earlier. Munching down on it because it's always time for food. Then he grabbed a coke from the fridge and snapped it open and let out a sigh of content.

   After his kitchen journey was over with he ran towards the stairs only to trip and hit his chin.

   "Don't run in the house Aaron" Nessie yelled over the Tv after hearing the boy stumble.

     "ShiT" Aaron grumbled rubbing his now bruised chin and proceeded to cautiously make his way to his and Z's shared room.

    As he opened the door eagerly, Z shot up from his nap at the loud commotion.

   "God Damnit, T can you not be so loud" he asks angrily.

    "Sorryyyy dude but I wanted to give you these!" Aaron bursted forward and slipped on the carpet that layed in front of the bed.

   He swears today he's gonna end up killing himself somehow. Z looked at the flowers that Aaron had outstretched in front of him.

    "Flowers?" Z asked weirded out but grabbed them slowly from the shorter man's grasp.

  Z couldn't help but feel flushed and his face started to heat up slightly but he just tossed them on the dresser.

  Aaron frowned at his actions.

  "C'mon Z you gotta put 'em in a vase" Aaron whined at how careless Z treated his gift.

   "How bout you put them in a vase"

  "No because it's your gift so you gotta do it to make it more special!"

  "Ughh T this is stupid"

  "BRO JUST DO IT WHY YOU GOTTA MAKE A FUSS!?!"

"You're the one yelling" Z exclaimed looking unamused.

   Aaron slumped over to his bed and slammed himself onto his pillow.

  Z looked over at him and then rolled his eyes

Then he could hear the faint crying noises coming from T and it made him raise an eyebrow. Did he actually upset T?

   Then everything went silent. Z hated it and he hated that he was gonna fill something up with water just to make the younger lad feel better.

      After afew minutes Z comes back with a blue vase with vine engravings on the side that Nessie had gave to him. Reaching over he picked the blue flowers and placed them neatly into the vase.

  After he finished he glanced over at T to see the boy staring at him with a devilish grin. "I win"

    "You're a loser" Z says laying back down on his bed and opening his book.

   "You love it" Aaron Replied smiling at the Giant that lay in the bed opposite from him.

     "You're right..I do"

  Those words made T's heart flutter. However he probably meant it in a friend way.

    Nightfall soon came and They had all been in their rooms the whole time and they were okay with it. They are always with each other on tour and most places so it was refreshing getting some time apart for all them. Except T and Z of course.

       IM SORRY THIS CHAPTER FEELS SO OUT OF PLACE IDK WHY. I PROMISE ITLL GET BETTER. I HAVE SO MANY PLANS FOR THIS STORY. I'd like to hear what you guys would want to see happen later in the story or anything I should add. I need more experience writing so I'd like feedback as well. Anyways IVE gotten some of the next few chapters done so I'll be updating again soon. Thanks so much for reading.
