"Words " are words I made up and don't make sense; are sort of important to the story though.
Narcissa isn't home today. Narcissa had recently been going out more often, and Draco suspected that she was going to meet a man; especially when even Bellatrix knew why her dear sister was often gone.
'At least,' Draco thought, 'She's moved on.'
"Draco!" Bellatrix called from downstairs. Today was the day that Bellatrix had mentioned that she would start training Draco to protect himself. Draco wasn't sure why or for what reason but just went along with it. Despite the War's end, the outside world was still harsh and dangerous. Possibly more than the said-to-be-'safe'-Hogwarts. Liars!
Draco hurried down the stairs of Professor McGonagall's house. Draco was relived that McGonagall had forgave Draco for all the dangers and harm he had put students in as a Death Eater and willingly let him stay in her old place.
Bellatrix stood by the window. She had already put protection spells around the objects in the house to prevent from breaking. Draco wasn't sure why she didn't want to teach outside instead but said nothing to that.
"Let's start. First of all- no, we don't need first, we can skip that. Is your occlumency skills good? If so, we can start off with 'Éusto'. Corpreta Tasèt is a spell that protects not just your mind, but your body and soul.
"Corpreta Tasèt is a Katitani word. Kakita: Kakita is a place hidden from the world, like Hogwarts, but more... secretive. Only the Blacks, Zabinis and unfortunately, the Potters, know of Kakita. Kakitani, Kakita's language, is hard to learn. The words are similar, and so are the pronunciations and writing style.
"Kakita is a rural area filled with magical plants. It's a green-y forest known as Forest of Vines. Kakita... is the Home of the four heads, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff. They hailed from Kakita and spread-shared their magic to among others.
"Did you know, the first Wand Holders were all muggles? But greed. All because of greed, Pure-bloods, Half-bloods and Muggle-born came about.
"Anyway, Corpreta Tasètis an invisible barrier that shields one from any kind of magic, be it light or dark. It can be a dangerous spell, especially if you're using it to defend yourself against Dark Magic, Draco. You can only use it when attacked, not when you're the one who started the fight. Do be very careful, especially when you say the incarnation 'Éusto', it has to be clear. Understand me, Draco?" Bellatrix finally stopped blabbering, leaving Draco with many unanswered questions; waiting for an opportunity to ask Bellatrix them.
Draco, by the end of Bellatrix sentence... -s..., left Draco blank. That was a lot of information to take in in five minutes. "Tu écoutes, Draco? (Are you listening, Draco?)" Bellatrix narrowed her eyes. Draco flinched, returning back to reality from his unknown world.
"Draco? Answer me." Stern and steady, very 'professional'.
"F- tu- as (Yes)," Draco slurred. He was still having difficulty speaking, but his words were now clearer, except today, when the information he just received had not completely absorbed into his not-functioning-properly brain yet.
"Hm. You can do non-verbal magic?" Draco only nodded. He wasn't that good but had been training himself since he was seven, after he was caught taking his father's wand and doing Wingardium Leviosa... on his favourite plate at that. Draco was not at all allowed to, so he would secretly do so a night, with his father's wand.
Yes, seven, impressive. But they were all self-taught, not taught properly. His skills were a bit floppy but still, he was very advanced already as a twenty-two year old who can do about thirty non-verbal spells. Perks of non-verbal spell? Well... uh... Draco gulped at the though of him once at a near-death situation because of learning a non-verbal spell.
And fricking Lucius who broke Draco's wand! Thankfully, just a week ago, Narcissa took the time off from her 'boyfriend' and managed to purchase a wand for Draco without occurring any dangers because of him.
Bellatrix relaxed and motioned him to try the Corpreta Tasètis. Bellatrix swished and flicked her wand smoothly. Draco as well, copied Bellatrix movements. 'Éusto!' Draco squinted his eyes as he visually saw a faint blue shell around him. First try!
"Blue?" Draco nodded enthusiastically. "Hm, I should've expected that, considering how smart you are. I thought to lowly of you, forgive me," Bellatrix smiled. Like a normal human. Draco decided that he like Bellatrix Le-normal. Draco grinned foolishly.
Maybe it won't be a bad year after all?
