Care of Magical Creatures with bloody Gryffindors! How very convenient when it includes both Seventh and Eighth Years, how fun.

"Draco, we're here... It's... Empty," Theo turned to Draco. Indeed, Hagrid's hut was empty. The door was open, the inside was clearly shown off to.

"Hagrid? Hagrid! It's Draco Malfoy! And Theodore Nott! Hagrid?" Draco pushed though the bushes and fallen leaves and twigs, calling hoarsely. A big figure then stood in front of the two Slytherins. "Argh!" Theo scream, tumbling onto all fours. Draco looked up cautiously. "Hagrid," Draco breathed. "Where..."

"Oh, y'er kno', jus' hangin' out with me'r Hippogri'ves! (Oh, you know, just hanging out with the Hippogriffs!)" Hagrid said cheerfully. Thank Merlin Hagrid wasn't kidnapped, though it kind of would be impossible for one like Hagrid. Not body shame, just that the creatures would probably save our unique Hagrid.

"How y'er, Draco, and Nott? How's cha recov'ring and copin'? (How are you, Draco, and Nott? How are y'all recovering and coping?)"

" 't's fine. Broken vocals, that's all," Draco raised a corner of his mouth as he spoke nonchalantly.

"Al'ight, get mor' rest. Let's get cla's movin', off we go!" Hagrid patted the two and pushed them forward. Looks like Hagrid really forgave Draco after all.

As they headed back, students started to gather for the class. Even Potter was early today, which was much unusual.

Draco stood at the back with Theo, not wanting to be seen, though they would. Eventually.

"Hey, Malfoy! Up to something again, aren't you? What do you want by staying and going to class? No one wants you here!" And to think it came from the Almighty Gryffindors - though not Potter, Granger and Weasley. Thankfully. Draco was tempted to retort but a nervous look from Theo made him stand in front of Theo to block the Gryffindors from his view. Theo looked at Draco quizzically. "Focus," he jerked his head to Hagrid then to Theo's books. Theo bit his lips but turned back to the lesson. Draco gave the Gryffindors a threat; a thumb running across his neck to tell them if he heard anything else come out of those filthy mouths, he'd slit (not literally) their throats.

Another hand, however, at his side away from the Gryffindors' views, his hands trembled terribly. Why? Draco had always had a mask on him, a selfish, bratty jerk, a bully. Like he ruled the world, like he was the next Voldemort. And now, he was the one being bullied, challenging the bullies that he had bullied before. He was pathetic. He felt a hand on his. Theo's. He smiled softly, not trusting his voice. He looked back up and tried to focus on the class.

*------------------------------*

Half an hour passed smoothly, nothing special. That was until when Draco and Theo were on their way to the Great Hall for Lunch. Draco had his wand waving, trying to get the spell which helped with his voice to work but oddly didn't work right now. Or maybe it was just hard to do it non-verbally. But one of the Gryffindors thought Draco was targeting him and... you can guess the outcome.

The Fourth Year Gryffindor was screaming "help", her friends pulled her away and started yelling at Draco. Theo was bewildered and took a step back. Students paused to watch the commotion, some even 'justified' for her that Draco was trying to attack her. Draco tensed up at the level of noise, it was as loud as when a Quidditch Match happens; the cheer, but no cheer in this case.

Professors came forward. First was Severus, the one who helped Draco be able to return to Hogwarts, the man he hadn't seen in a while, not even yesterday. Severus took points from Gryffindor and commanded everyone to go to the Great Hall. While some disperse, some stayed but Severus threatened to deduct more points so they left. Now all that were left were a few Professors, including Headmaster McGonagall, the 'victim', and Draco and Theo. Theo was rigid and not moving behind Theo. Draco took a step back from everyone to stand beside Theo. Theo visibly relaxed as Draco put a hand on Theo's.

"What was the cause of this huge commotion on the first day back?" Professor Black, yes, Sirius Black, asked. The 'victim' 's friend very confidently and quickly replied that Draco was trying to attack her. Theo's mouth opened to protest but nothing came out of it. Draco could also say nothing, his voice wasn't working because someone decided to play victim when Draco was only trying to fix his vocally impaired voice. "Is this true, Mr. Malfoy?" Professor McGonagall turned to Draco, as well as everyone on set. Draco's eyes widened at the already known accusation and shook his head, not bothering to fix his voice and say the truth. No one would believe him anyway. But of course, it would be weird if the 'victim' said she was targeted but the 'attacker' said no. Explanations were needed.

"You pointed your wand at Regina, don't feign innocence!" The Gryffindor's friend, a Ravenclaw female spat. And no, Draco's wand was never pointed at her, only at his own-

"N-no, that is... false. H-h-his wand was only p-pointed towards... his own neck-" Theo reasoned, playing with his free hand's fingers.

"Y- He was threatening her!" The Ravenclaw stuttered, putting a hand on the Gryffindor's shoulders. The Gryffindor frowned and nodded her head at the Ravenclaw's ridiculous remark.

"Ms. Defony, what did you see?" Professor McGonagall asked the other Gryfindor. The shy girl just lowered her head. And finally, she spoke. "Th- He never looked at Regina when he did that..." She whispered. At least this girl knows. The Ravenclaw shot a glance at Defony and clenched her jaw. "So two against two. Mr. Malfoy, what were you doing or indicating with your wand pointed at your neck?" Professor Black pointed to the wand on Draco's left hand. Draco winced. He was probably going to be seen as wanting to attack if he pulled his wand to fix his voice, but he wouldn't be able to answer if he didn't. Draco was hesitating when Theo let go of his hand. "Dr-Draco... he um..." Theo looked at Draco. He could ask Theo to- right! Days ago, he had used a spell which formed words, perhaps...

Draco whispered to Theo, trying to speak as clearly as possibly, clearing his throat too many times which made the others suspicious. Basically, to sum his horrible speaking, he asked Theo to ask Professor McGonagall if she would allow Draco to use a spell to form words since he wouldn't fix it at the moment, and since she already knows about it, probably, from his mother, she would allow.

Theo transferred his words and soon enough, Professor McGonagall pulled out her own wand instead and fixed his voice! Draco touched his throat and cleared his throat. It was no longer hoarse or raspy. The rest watched in confusion. "From what I've heard, Mr. Malfoy is innocent and was not targeting Ms. Dwayne. Now, off to Lunch, you lot." Professor McGonagall must've pieced the situation together.

"Thank you," Draco bowed his head as he walked by her.

"Come look for me if you ever need help with... yes." Draco smiled and bobbed his head a little and left for the Great Hall with a chattering Theo.
