It was our second Wedding Anniversary today. 

Andy and me both took off work. 

We did last year. 

She said McCallister would be fine without a Battalion Chief for a day.

He has other Stations that need him more. 

And other Stations that need Battalion Chiefs more. 

Station 19, 23, 7, or 12 aren't included in those Stations.  

I personally think that's why McCallister made Andy Battalion Chief over them. 

I would never tell her that because I don't want to hurt her feelings. 

Andy wasn't in bed next to me when I woke up. 

Her phone was on the nightstand next to mine. 

I got out of bed. 

I slid my robe on. 

I walked out of our room. 

Andy was cooking in her robe. 

She giggled as I wrapped my arms around her from behind. 

"One tip for next year?" I questioned, kissing Andy's neck. 

"Mm?" 

"I would like to wake up next to my Wife." 

She giggled. 

"I have done that the past two years, haven't I?" 

"Mm-hmm." 

We both laughed. 

Andy turned the burners off. 

"Well, breakfast is done." 

She put it on the table. 

It was Pancakes, Bacon, and Sausage. 

"How long have you been up?" 

"Mm... Since 9:00." 

It was only 10:00 now.

"You continue to amaze me everyday, Andy Herrera." 

We kissed deeply. 

Andy broke the kiss. 

"I am starving." 

I laughed. 

"Seriously. You guys have built me up to a guy's appetite. This is partially your fault." 

I laughed. 

"Girls look at me funny when I manage to finish a burger that they can't." 

"Well, that's their problem, not yours." 

Andy sat on my lap as we ate. 

"Hey. We never had that serious conversation. Before we got married." 

"Mm-hmm." I told her, kissing her shoulder. 

"Can-- Can you listen to me please?" 

"I am." 

"It really doesn't seem like it." 

"I am listening to you, baby. I hear you and I see you." 

She got up. 

Andy put the plates in the sink. 

"I'll wash them later." 

She sat on the couch.
