"Take you badass son." Kaylee held Jr out in front of Jahseh as soon as he walked into the door. As soon as he held his hands out, she shoved the two-year-old into his chest.
Jahseh's face frowned up as he looked at Kaylee then down at his son who stared right back up at him. It was almost as if he was looking at himself in the mirror just in baby form.
"He's bad as fuck, stop acting like you don't know this." The women walked away finally able to breathe and possibly get some relaxation, possibly a hot bath in the dark. " How was your grandmom?"
Jahseh had left around ten this morning to be with his grandmother, she wasn't completely feeling well and lately he and other close family members had been with her at her home Jahseh had purchased for her.
"She's doing better." He took some time today to spend time with her and crack jokes like old times. Jahseh would've taken his son, but he was a handful and spoiled at that.
He decided not to so his grandmother could have peace without wondered what her great-grandson was getting into.
"Did you see the kids and your mom?" She reffered the his siblings.
Amara, his sister. Cleo wanted her first girl to have an Egyptian like name since she had one too. Her name meant a child filled with grace and mercy. The young girl was beautiful and favored Aiden in many ways. She was two in a half.
Her birthday was in late March, while Juniors was August. The two together was a migraine. To be family members they didn't spend as much time with each other.
Cleo barely came around when Jahseh was around, and when they did it was soley for the babies.
"Aiden and Amara were there." Jahseh followed his girlfriend to the kitchen rough housing with Jr along the way, he ended up putting him down at the archway of the kitchen and the toddle trailed right behind him.
" Damn, if I knew that I would've told you to bring Jr with you."
He shook his head, the boy was really bad, Amara could behave she was entertained by the smallest things and didn't require much extra attention, the girl still got into things but her and Jr were the complete opposite.
He liked to scream and throw things, she didn't do too much screaming without a purpose, Jr liked to hit and throw things at the dogs, Amara was scared of them and stayed away, Jr was a daddy's boy, Amara was the opposite.
Two total opposites but still two adorable kids. Jr did act like his father, a lot.
"Maybe next time."
"Next time I'm coming with you, I will not sit here with your demon spawn and lose my shit while he goes rouge."
Jahseh waved her off, he headed for the dish rack to grab Jr's sippy cup and put some apple juice in it for him. Afterwards he bent down and gave him blue and green paw patrol sippy cup.
"He isn't that bad."
Kaylee scoffed and rolled her eyes, she had countless of videos of him being up to no good. He carried so much energy it was ridiculous, the woman just knew when he was old enough to go to school, he'd be the worst. "He puts on a front when your around."
"That's not a good idea." Aiden warned his sister, she had a sinister smile on her face as she continued to walk up the stairs that led to the second floor of their home.
The two had returned home, their aunt dropped them back home with McDonalds, Aiden's request.
A happy meal for Amara and a spicy chicken sandwich with a medium fry for himself.
Aiden watched his sister try and skip over two steps again, he stood closely behind her to make sure his sister didn't fall back. His right hand was on her back just in case she went backwards, and his other had their bag of food along with the house key.
He could hear his mother speaking loudly possibly from the second living room. Aiden looked up at the tall figure that came across the corner and towered over him and Amara.
"Wassup buddy." Chris spoke to Aiden first, then went ahead and picked up his daughter, she had a big smile on her face staring up at her father.
"What's up." He replied and held up the brown paper bag. " Auntie got us some Mickey D's."
"That's wassup"
The two made small talk until they reached the spacious second living room, Cleo looked at her children with a smile on her face. She saw them when they came in. The way the second living room was set up you could see from the railings down to the first living room. She saw when them we Aiden opened up the door.
Chris just decided to meet them at the stairs.
"How was your sister?" Cleo asked Aiden as she embraced her in a hug.
"Good, everybody wanted to hold her the whole time. We seen Jah though, Amara was happy to see him JJ wasn't there."
"Oh god." Cleo kept it at that, that was one of the reasons she went and seen her mom yesterday and sent her kids over there today instead because her mom already let her know he'd be coming today.
"When we gone see JJ again ma." Aiden asked while he took a bite from his spicy mc-chicken.
A deep breathe came from Cleo, she preferred to keep distance and not speak more than she had to- to Jahseh. Lately it had been more peaceful with her doing so. Chris and Cleo's relationship had been A1 this past two years and she'd like to keep it that way. With Jahseh involved it was nerve- wrecking and stressful.
She was so at peace, being around Jahseh made her nauseas. Literally.
"I'll see if Kaylee can bring JJ over, or better yet if yall can be dropped off."
Cleo didn't have a problem with sending Amara and Aiden over there. She knew for a fact they would be safe and okay with both Kaylee and Jahseh.
Cleo was fine with Kaylee but her son was a whole nother story. And she'd rather stay out of his prensence unless it was needed.
"I told him about my soccer game he messed last week. He said he wouldn't do it again."
