Ortus, the world of Origin, is divided into five continents by eight great oceans. Each continent has its own set of seasonal differences, rulers, and warriors to lead it. Thirty percent of the world's population were born with gifts that enable them to become warriors. These warriors are the royals and noble families of each kingdom. They are responsible for overseeing their kingdom's and continent's prosperity as well as the safety of the people born without the first heroes' gifts.
The North, where the season of spring reigns for half a year, is called Arktikos. Fourteen kingdoms were founded in that region. It is widely known as the land of blooming flowers as its hills and plains are carpeted with a rainbow of flowers, trees, and agriculture. The majority of the warriors on this continent are marksmen. Its capital city, Florens, is known as the home of arts and entertainment.
Entalis, the continent of the East, is known as the land of the sun and sea. Summer rules the whole continent for half of the year and fifteen kingdoms were founded in this region. Solis, the capital city, is the center of learning and magic. It is the city where the Grand School of Heroes, Elysia, was established by the very first heroes. Many come to the continent's three port cities for their wonderful vacation resorts and the other cities for the cuisine. Other than that, the continent is well known for its strong mages and healers, which are the rarest classes of warriors.
The Autumn Continent, which resides on the west, is Cidens. For half of the year, red, orange, and yellow leaves fall to the earth. Hence the name: the land of falling leaves. Cidens is a mountainous region, therefore the eleven kingdoms that settled there built mines to extract minerals. The capital city, Casus, is called the Mineral Capital of the World.
Teiman, found in the South, is ruled by the season of winter. It was dubbed the land of ice and snow and only seven kingdoms were established there. Vast snow forests and mountains separate the kingdoms from each other. Gelus, the continent's capital, is the center of weaponry and medicine. The class assassins rule this continent.
In the middle of the four continents, is the balanced continent of Centrio. It is known as the land of quarters because the seasons are equally distributed throughout the year and Centrio has four port cities. Centrio is the center of trade for all the continents. Many of the class fighters reside here.
The four great kingdoms of the four seasonal continents: Nightingales of Spring, Peacocks of Summer, Phoenixes of Autumn, and Snow Owls of Winter; are the Head Kingdoms of their respective regions. They have maintained peace for thousands of years and they celebrate their truce every ten years.
Centrio, the neutral ground of the four, has always held this celebration in the city of Peace, Mir. It is a very joyous holiday for the five continents. The celebration lasts for a week, starting on June 28 and ending on July 4. The streets are filled with entertainment and stalls for everyone to enjoy. And on the night of July 1, a grand banquet is held for all.
This has always been the tradition. Until someone decided it was time to cause chaos once again after thousands of years of peace.
Insecurity and grudge ruled the heart of one kingdom for years which caused revenge against the four great kingdoms. After losing a loved one and having the fear of losing another, one has to pay the price which broke the Four's lifelong bond.
For ten years, there was no contact; and for ten years, many things have happened. Fear, manipulation, danger, and will to find out the truth have changed them all.
Will the new generation of warriors find the right answer to the murder mystery years ago? Would war break out among them in search of the truth? Will they solve their kingdom's problems and be crowned as heroes? Would their hearts heal from the wounds they got along the way?
Let's see.
