I stood there in my brother's office as he sat going through different things that involved the sons.

"you're honestly gonna give me shit for who I'm engaged to just cause you have issues with them and are wanting to nail their ass so you can make a name for yourself. and to avenge your highschool life that was hell?" I asked

"its not just that. they arent good people" he says

"can you not think like a damn cop for ones and see past their criminal records and see what they've done for this small ass town?" I asked

he sigh and stopped what he was doing and he stared at me.

"I get it you're wanting to protect me and keep me from getting hurt like the two of us had done all of our lives. But Alex isn't hurting me. the sons' arent hurting me. " I tell him

"why are you with him out of all the people in this town you went with him... why?" he asked

"you can never help who you fall in love with. your heart doesn't care what they had done, or what they do to survive. you only care that they don't hurt you. that they love you like your the greatest thing in this world. hat they treat you like a dime a dozen. that they are there for you through out all obsticals in your life and they arent giving up on you. that no matter what happens they are always there for you" I tell him

"I don't want you hurt" he says

I walked around so I was right by him and I leaned against his desk.

"I get your whole protective demineor trust me I do. I'm still that way with you. I don't care if your a deputy cherif or not. your my brother and I love you." I tell him

"your my sister and I love you too" he says

"then please stop trying to ruin my engagement with Alex. he's the love of my life and I want to be with him for the rest of my life. whatever bullshit you was trying to pull up just to nail his ass for being engaged to me.please stop, cause your really hurting me by going after Alex for not legal reason. but as pay back or big fuck you for being who he is now." I say

He stood up and looked at me.

"fine. I will stop and I'll be happy for you but I cant promise when things go down and legally I nail his ass along with his friends that I wont be happy and joyful." he says

I stood up and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you bub" I say

"welcome" he says

"love you Dav" I tell him

"love you too Zen" he says

I hugged him and told him to be careful out there. before I headed towards the door only stopping short and looked back at him

"oh by the way congratulations on your engagement to Jaylen," I tell him 

he smiled

Once I left the police station I headed to work do deal with that ordel.
