Since spending time with my brother I've been back at work and handling a whole lot of things from wrecks, to stabbings and even abuse. which I of course reported it to the cops and my brother as well as Unser would come and take the Evidence they'd need as they talked with the patient/victim. I'd give my input when asked then go about my way.

Today it seems as if it was the day for people to be drunk and do stupid shit.

I was handling the ER when I had to deal with reckless drunk drivers and had to deal with the idiots who tried to fart fire but burnt their asses. 

That was funny as hell. but I managed to keep it professional as I dealt with the patient. 

I've been flashed today more times than I can count or want to be flashed by both Genders. I've had to restrain some grab happy fuckers. and I've had to have security escort the "party" goers out of the hospital.

When they needed my to handle this one patient I wasn't ready for what I had seen. when I tried to go and get some input of what was going on. her mother would stop me.

"you cant go in there" she says

"I can. and I need to" I replied

"medical staff only" she says

I looked at my badge.

"doctor" I say pointing to my badge

"Oh... okay" she says then moved out of the way.

I walked into the little girl's room and right off I knew what had happened.

I talked to the little girl and I kept things calm so she'd not be frightened or anything. I had explained what I needed to do and how it would feel and what could possibly happen.

I never wanted to perform a rape kit on a child. but I guess some sick piece of shit attacked her and here we are.

Once I did what I needed I gave her a slight smile before I left her be.

My brother came to ask me questions and I told him what I suspected. 

"where ever she was found, someone around there attacked her. and if I had some speculation it was possible the carnival people." I told him

"why cause they are new here?" he asked

"how many rape cases since becoming a cop up till now have you dealt with here in charming David?" I asked

"None" he says

so isn't it something that when the carnival comes to town a little girl gets attacked and raped?" I asked

"alright I'll go and question them" he says

"be careful I don't trust people like that who would harm an innocent kid." I tell him

"I will I promise" he says

I nodded my head and he walked off while I headed to do my rounds before I went back into the little girls room and handed her a soda and a candy bar.

"thank you" she says

"Welcome hunny" I tell her

"Can I talk with you?" she asked

"sure darling" I tell her as I walked up and checked her over so if her mom or dad walked in they'd not think Iwas hounding her.

"the clown attacked me. I was  leaving the tilt a whirl when he grabbed me and dragged me into the woods telling me to not say a word. when I tried screaming he hit me. when he threw me down I must had hit a rock cause I blacked out. when I came to thats when I was found. my life will never be the same" she says as she starts to cry.

I wiped the tears and looked at her.

"I wont lie and tell you that your life will be the same. cause this effects people differently. and while you'll hope and pray that it doesn't fully ruin your life. you can only do what you need to inorder to not fully focus on it. though you'll never forget it happened. but you cant let it control your life." I tell her before handing her a tissue.

"thank you" she says

"welcome sweetie" I tell her

she wiped her eyes and sniffled.

"get some rest." I tell her before I stepped out of the room and almost hit Tig.

"Jesus you almost scared the fire outta me" I commented

"sorry baby." he says

I waved it off and I walked down the hall with him.

"you know who done it don't you?" he asked

"clown is who she said" I replied

"thank you" he says

"love you" I replied

he pecked my lips

"love you too" he says

"please be careful," I tell him

"I will," he says before he walked off

I wanted to cry for that little girl cause of that sick fucker. no kid or adult should ever experience that life changing incident. i will mess you up and if you let it control you then it could ruin your life.
