Under the comforting shade of a tree with a light pink trunk, Sunny lay in Headspace, observing the various constellations above his head. He couldn't quite remember the names of them all, so he made some of them up.
He had a funny feeling in his stomach. He didn't have a stomach ache (which is a surprise, considering the amount of chocolate he stole from the pantry), but a sinking feeling in his gut. Like something bad would happen soon.
He sighed, grunting as he pushed himself up against the rough bark. A gentle breeze blew his hair. Today was oddly peaceful. Sunny wondered where Omori went. Not like he cared.
A noose made from purple rope dangled slightly above his head. A disgusting stench filled his nose. A stench that reminded him of when you eat too much candy, and the urge to vomit makes you dizzy. His head hurt.
Sunny brought his legs against his chest, burying his face into his own knees. An unbearable wave of both nausea and discomfort overtook him. He quickly scooted away from the noose. He tried to look at everything, anything else, but the unsettling feeling never left his mind. Memories filled with guilt and despair flooded his brain, tearing his heart apart.
His gaze somehow made its way back to the noose without Sunny's knowledge, and he regretted not paying attention to his own senses. A corpse, a familiar one, hung from the noose, the rope burning their neck as their limbs stayed limp. An eye stared at Sunny, burning a hole into his skin.
He just wanted to wake up.
...And, just like that, he did.
~~~
It seems that panic truly can blind your senses. Sunny managed to sleep through his alarm clock!
He hastily threw on his uniform and grabbed his backpack before brushing his teeth. Sunny grabbed a muffin from the kitchen countertop and dashed out the door, barely managing to put his shoes on without tripping over the shoelaces. He dashed in the direction of the school, his feet roughly hitting the pavement. He hastily scarfed down his muffin and threw it into a nearby trash can, running a hand through his unruly hair.
Finally, Sunny managed to arrive at the front gates, panting with exhaustion. After making his way through the halls and asking for directions, he made his way to his class.
"I'm here!" In an out-of-character moment, Sunny shouted as he burst through the door. The class was silenced, staring at Sunny.
"Glad you could make it. Sit down." Aizawa said, clearly not ready to deal with this bullshit.
Sunny happily dropped into his chair, sighing.
"Today, you lot are going to have three instructors: All Might, Myself, and one other person. Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. Todays class is focused on rescue training. You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time. This lesson will take place off campus, so we're taking the bus."
Sunny stared out of the window. His previous costume scared the shit out of him, for some reason. At the time, he only wore it as a tribute to Mari. Now he didn't want to be reminded of her. It made him uncomfortable. Not the mask, but the design of the clothing.
...Not because it looked like a power ranger, mind you!
...Still, thank god he's not a power ranger anymore.
Bro, do y'all have any ideas as to what his hero costume should be? I have no idea -_-. I'm not good with this kind of thing 0-0.
This chapter's just rather short, and I haven't proof-read it, so feel free to point out any mistakes. Have a nice day/night! ^^
Happy Valentine's Day! Who's your valentine? Mine's is my little brother -w-
