the sun had long set,and the moon had risen. how long had it been since you were in this position. you had gotten here before the gang actually arrived. and to not alert anyone you hadn't moved from the spot.

but oh man did moving seem very tempting. but if you did you'd probably make a noise. I mean you were hiding behind the trees and with all these leaves on the ground you weren't sure if it would be a good gamble.

well your body better thank you for this gamble you're about to take...slowly standing up, you're body felt so much better. so much so you hadn't noticed that a crunch came from beneath you.

"hey...did you hear that?"

"yeah but you're probably over thinking it...it's probably the wind."

"dude there's no wind."

"oh you're right...wait then that is suspicious."

check it out myself...check it out myself...ah no! that meant they were coming this way,your way! how? how had you messed up this bad?! it was a simple job! so simple! you're never taking gambles again!

you quickly moved properly behind a tree. you could only hope that the person who was coming your way had super bad eyesight.

and with that the footsteps got closer and closer. till they stopped a few feet away from you. and they got closer,closer, until they stopped. right next to you. turning your head you met the face known as 'draken'.

what luck you had right? you doubted he had bad eyesight.
•

"who the hell are you?"

☘︎︎

you could only send back a giddy smile. you weren't even sure if he could see it. it had been a while since you had gotten caught. which made you oddly excited, it was like a game for you. who would win?

"lets play some tag yeah? catch me if you can."
•
☘︎︎

and with the giddy smile wiped off your face, you sent the male a confident smirk. and proceeded to run.

"this isn't a game! who the hell are you?!"

"oh just your average informant!"
•
☘︎︎

and so you played a little game of tag with draken. this wasn't how the job was supposed to go but oh well. you had gotten the information you needed.

looking back at him, he was closer than you'd expected. you, not paying attention we're about to run into a tree. draken had noticed this and had his fist ready to thrown a punch.

which ended up hitting the tree. when suddenly a blade shot up from the ground. which he barely managed to dodge. then the blade went sideways towards the tree. an attempt to slash his face.

though like his earlier punch, the blade stabbed the tree. this poor tree was taking the beating. he had taken this as an opportunity to throw a punch. which the mysterious figure had dodged.

leaning back draken had caught a glimpse of some (eye.c) eyes. before ultimately taking the blade out of the tree, and running into the darkness.

by that time the vice president of toman had figured it out. a mysterious figure, a blade, and an informant. there was only one answer it was the boogeyman.

how long had you been running? a few minutes by now. taking one glance back, he wasn't following behind you anymore. so you slowed your pace.

that was a close one. you only missed the true due to your previous planning. thank goodness for staking out the place a few days before.

well you couldn't exactly go back now so, it was time you called it a night. you're sure your client would be satisfied by the information you had gotten.
