FAQs:
Can I extend my entry after the contest ends?
Yes. You can extend your entry into a novel after we announce the winners. If you do it before the winner is announced, it might make your entry ineligible for judging.
Can I write a poetry entry?
Unfortunately no, this contest hasn't allowed a poetry category yet.
Do I have to make a new book?
You can submit an existing or separate book. Please ensure that when submitting, the link must be to your contest entry. We cannot add your existing book in our respective reading list, unless it is a standalone.
Does it have to be 2000 words?
No, between 1500 - 2000 words are fine.
Do I need to write a single chapter only?
Adding more than one chapter is welcomed, but please keep in mind the whole story must meet our word limit. Single chapters are accepted.
Can I do a co-written story with someone?
Yes, you can! However, if you choose to publish on both your profiles, be aware that we can only add one story to our respective reading lists, not both.
Can I enter more than one entry?
As much as we love to read your creative stories, only one entry per user is allowed.
Are LGBTQ+ characters allowed?
Of course, we always welcome LGBTQ+ characters and stories!
What about Mature?
Mature is allowed as well, but please remember that it must meet the contest criteria in order to be accepted.
How will our stories get judged?
Stories are judged on various factors, such as writing quality (spelling, punctuation, and grammar), originality, and relation to our prompt.
