Arianne's POV
The guards led me down a very windy path. And eventually, we got to a ginormous mansion.
It had to be at least five floors. It had four white columns from the base to the roof and two more going up to a large balcony. With an arch right underneath the balcony.
'I'm guessing that's the Alpha's room.' I thought. Then I saw a pair of piercing gray eyes that looked to be staring at me. I averted my gaze and let out an inaudible and involuntary squeak.
At least, I thought it was inaudible. But not to these guards. So, they sent me a glare. I took it as a means to get me to shut up. So I did, and during the silence, I just stared (more like glared) at the path made of rock and dirt that was lined with gorgeous white moonflowers.
After a few minutes of walking in -what I'm assuming is- their pack house I was led into a room and told to stay put. I did what I was told, as I didn't want the Alpha to be mad at me. Or, at least, any more than he might already be.
While I was waiting I looked at the architecture, furnishing, and decor of the room. Or pretty much anything to get me to focus off that I could be killed for trespassing. The room had a pastel color palate. With a ton of whites and different shades of beige (lighter shades nontheless). There were two columns on each side of the door and lots of paintings. Though, I couldn't tell if they were newer or older. The furniture on the other hand, looked pretty new. There was a white couch, and various white chairs. Some of which had wood detailing.
While I'm 'exploring' the way the room was decorated and built, I heard footsteps and whispering. Eventually the footsteps were right outside the door. I looked away right as the door opened.
