POV: AMANDA "ASIA" ALEXANDER

The bass vibrated through my body as I pressed my palms against my bent knees, sinking deeper into the movement. My waist rolled in slow circles with my motion so fluid, it was almost hypnotic. I switched it up, alternating between smooth counterclockwise rotations and sharp, teasing tic-tocs. My body was fully in tune with the beat that pulsed through the speakers.

Through all my movements the hem of my dress threatened to ride up, but I was quick to hold it down. I wasn't about to give any one a free show tonight. This moment was mine. Pure, unfiltered freedom. I glanced over at Indica and Shadae, and sure enough, they were in full action. Bubbling pon somebody man like rent was due. Indica threw her head back in laughter as a pair of strong hands steadied her by the waist, while Shadae moved her hips against some lucky soul who had no choice, but to keep up.

I smirked, shaking my head. Then, the DJ made a move that sent a fresh jolt of excitement through the crowd. "Yuh see dis one yah? If yuh nah feel it, yuh need fi leave di party!"

Just like that, the infectious rhythm of Yung Bredda's 'Feel It' took over. A collective roar erupted from the crowd. Women screamed and instantly the dance floor came alive with even more urgency. Waistlines moved in perfect synchronization, as if controlled by the riddim itself. The beat was the kind that took over your soul before your mind even caught up.

With a newfound intensity, I dropped lower, arching my back slightly as I rolled my hips in slow, taunting motions. The music pulled me in, pushing me to dance with even more energy. Tonight wasn't about anything else. No stress, no worries. Just the riddim, the moment, and me.

I couldn't contain myself as my body moved to the beat. The liquor had fully kicked in now. My head so light and my body buzzed with that intoxicating warmth. Maybe a little too nice, but I wasn't complaining.

Indica and Shadae? They were lost in their own world, completely wrapped up in the men they were dancing with. Their waists glued to those guys like they had something to prove. Indica had her arms draped around the guy's neck, while Shadae seemed she was on a mission. The man she danced with had his hands locked onto her waist, and yet, she still the eyes of the old man on her.

I smirked to myself. Cause if my eye nuh deceive me, dah same old man was lurking in the shadows, watching her every move. Not my business tho.

The music switched up, and suddenly, the DJ's voice boomed over the speakers, cutting through the thick air. "LADDDIESSSSS! Ah wah yuh lean back! Leh me knock it from de back! Lean back!"

The track pulled up and the bass dropped, hitting like a shockwave. The crowd erupted, and just like that, the whole dancefloor transformed.  Women bent forward, pressing their hands against their knees, waistlines in sync, ready for whatever came next. The DJ wasn't missing. Every  chune was a direct hit, back-to-back. The riddim commanded me, and I was more than willing to obey.

Shadae leaned in, her voice cutting through the loud music, "Manda, ah going bathroom with Indica. Yuh coming or yar stop yah?"

I waved her off lazily, my body still swaying slightly to the bass thumping through the speakers. "Ah good. Me ah go stay."

I wasn't in the mood to follow them through the crowd, dodging drunk guys fishing for attention or whatever else. Besides, what was the worst that could happen? It was just me and the two guys they'd been dancing with. Truly nothing I couldn't handle.

With each passing minute, the light, dizzy buzz in my head grew stronger, and a warm flush spread across my skin. I recognized the feeling instantly. It only ever meant one thing. When my head starts to feel nice like that, the real side of me begins to slip out.
