He was clicking his pen. The room's air felt unbreathable.''This is annoying.''
He gets up as he sucks his teeth and grabs his phone. Atlas pauses a bit staring at himself in the black screen of the phone, noticing the anger in his eyes. He didn't even blink in the process. As he opens an app from his phone. A map one but not a casual one, there was a red point flickering, as a target.
''Found you.''
He closes it, putting it in his pocket , rushing out as he grabs a coat off a random chair. He leaves the house as he goes in the direction of the 'red dot'. As he was walking on the empty streets, he could've hear only his own steps. It was way too quiet. He can't help but notices in the corner of his eye a black figure but when he turned his head there was nothing.
He scoffs not having time for distractions so he rushes the step. He ends up calling for a cab so he arrives faster.
He did it. He ended up facing Fenrir and his friends in front of AKT's building. He couldn't help but get amused by Fenrir's face expression. His widened hopeless eyes, they were either full with sadness or anger. For the other it wasn't pleasing. He felt like everything was darkening before him, he could feel his body wanting to tremble, he felt an unpleasant feeling running trough his whole body. His heart was accelerating but why. He kept asking himself that.
Was it because he didn't expect seeing Atlas there? Or maybe he was scared of him? Why would he be scared of him after all he helped him. How did he know he was here or-.
Atlas's face went serious when he met Nero's eyes. Both were staring at each other in a disliking manner.
''Where are you going?'' Atlas asks fixing his eyes back on Fenrir.
He was uneasy, he didn't know if he should reply or not.
''Doesn't matter. You're coming with me.''
He reaches for Fenrir grabbing his hand but Nero stopped him. There was something wrong with all three of them.
Why was Fenrir so terrified about this dude? Literally why, weren't they friends. He cant help but feel like he will literally cry from fear.
''He is coming with me, we have plans.'' Nero says on a serious tone. That got Fenrir off guard. It was a rare thing to see Nero dead serious about something.
''No.'' Atlas didn't bring or say nothing more than a pressed negative reply.
Fenrir got pissed. He was feeling that his fear was switching with anger.
''I will go home.'' He shook his hand so they both let go walking away, ignoring both.
It was draining. Why so many things were happening to him. His mind was empty the whole time till he arrived home. It was like he wasn't there. Just his body. How he entered the house his mom ran to him and hugged him. He was numb. He couldn't feel anything, as much as he wanted to feel her warmness and her purity he couldn't. He had nothing left to feel, it was like his emotions were deleted. It was like his burning heart that was once full of emotion is now just a dead ragged flesh thrown as no one cares about it. He felt like he is a hopeless body.
His mom broke the hug, she grabbed his face looking at him. She was happy her son was finally there after he kept going out.
''Are you going to leave again?'' Her voice was shaky, it was clearly she was crying before he arrived home. He sighed.
''I don't plan on leaving again.'' He was sick with everyone, he decided that he will remain home as long as he can and mind his business. Trying to go back to the life before meeting Atlas. He was going to wait with his parents for the investigators to do their job.
