The wind was blowing trough the tree's bodies, branches that were empty, most of the leaves being all over the cold ground. An end of the autumn season, everything seemed grey from the smoke coloured clouds, everything felt low saturated, extremely quiet just the crow noises from time to time when they fly off.Even though it was really quiet, there was a sound disturbing the silence, and it wasn't the wind. Sounded more as a digging sound. In the heart of an abandoned forest by any living thing.
He was digging up the dirt to hide a body. Once he was finally done he threw the shovel aside ready to drag the body towards the hole, then he kicked it inside. It did a loud thump. He sighed, he was about to reach the shovel but it wasn't there anymore. He didn't turn around but he heard noise, ironic clap coming from behind him. He slowly turns around without expecting anything.
''Congrats, my little boy!'' he hysterically laughed as he stopped clapping his hands.
''Ts, don't call me that.'' He rolled his eyes then looked back at the pit.
''Let me help you.'' He didn't wait for the response, going towards the hole but stops before doing anything, he does a sign to Moon to approach him. They both stay at the edge of the deep hole, where the corpse was going to rot.
By the time he even had to react, Moon felt a small push...but not a strong enough one to make him fall, Crow takes his mobile phone from his pockets. Moon looks at him somehow relieved he didn't end up hugging the dead body. Before he said anything, the other throws the phone on the ground, smashes it with his foot and then kicks it in the hole and starts to bury the phone together with the corpse.
Moon didn't know how to react. He glanced at the destroyed phone then at him.
''What was that for?'' he finally revolted and spoke up.
''You cannot keep using phones like that. As newer they are the easier are to track .'' Crow stops, and gives Moon another phone, an old one with buttons.
''You threw the 'trackable' device where the body is.''
Crow throws him a look, he wasn't in the mood for any of his shit comments or pretending he likes him that day.
''If you don't want to end up in prison just do as I say, will you?''Moon didn't have anything else to add, he was right, he couldn't do as he wanted, he had barely any experience.

''Did you get those files checked?''
''Not yet, I'm still writing the investigation progress papers.'' Buffalo replied stressed as they felt like suffocating in all the papers.
Blaise was visibly pissed by the reply. He ended up having to lead the whole group, extremely stressful. They were losing all their leads as they were doing nothing about it.
''Can someone else then check the files?'' Blaise kept trying his luck.
''I am busy with the criminalists, I have to be sure all the information they have, we have it too.'' Hela was busy typing and writing. Everything was a real mess.
''This is so stressful, why did Terry got transferred, It's difficult as three.'' Buffalo's complains were true.
''The upper heads are looking for taking in new students, meaning we might get a new transfer.''
''We'll have a beginner with us? That won't be that helpful.''
''We're one of the highest departments, no newbie can get here unless they have enough experience and take the exams which is pretty much impossible.'' Blaise explained them the situation. Meaning someone from another good department could join their team soon.
