When Rachel said that Percy should stay with her, he thought she meant stay within close proximity from where she lived. Like, she lived in this house, Percy lived in the house next door.

He didn't expect that they would live together, like literally together.

Percy had never shared a house with someone before. Sure his friends came over sometimes and when they were dating, Artemis would sleep over sometimes.

But she never stayed, like, stayed.

Of course, he was aware that he had a target on his back by a group of lethal assassins, but living with Rachel somehow made him nervous.

Especially since Rachel was fucking loaded.

They were in a penthouse at the top of the Delphi HQ. The marble white floors could've blinded Percy if it wanted to. The furniture was sleek and modern, but looked untouched. The floor-to-ceiling windows showed the city skyline.

"Your room is to the left." Rachel said casually. "Make yourself at home. You can ask Gerard for help if you need to." Rachel gestured at her butler who bowed at Percy slightly. Percy just waved weakly. "But most importantly, you do not leave this building without my permission."

"Gotcha." Percy said as he marveled the room. "Um, will we be staying together? Just the two of us?"

Rachel raised an eyebrow. "Is there a problem with that?"

"Well, it's not a problem. But it'll certainly be a first for me." Percy said nervously.

"Huh. Are you nervous about it?" Rachel asked, her voice getting soft. She steps closer to Percy.

"Kinda."

"I see." Rachel got uncomfortably close. "I mean, we are alone in this place." She leaned in towards Percy. "If we decide to do anything, no one's gonna know. The staff won't tell anyone. I won't say a word."

Percy felt his face burning. Why was Rachel acting all weird?

The two locked eyes for a moment. "You are a man. I'm a woman. It wouldn't be weird for us to get . . . intimate." Rachel gave a mischievous smile. "Can you imagine?"

"Um, I don't think that's a good idea." Percy said as he shook the disturbing thought out of his head.

Her mischievous smile turned into a grin. "Good. I'm just messing with you."

Percy let out a huge sigh of relief. He wouldn't want things to get weird between him and Rachel, given their circumstances.

"Thank god." Percy muttered.

"Relax. I wouldn't want to get anyone jealous." Rachel wiggled her eyebrows. "Besides, you're not my type."

"Uh, thanks?" Percy decided to take it as a compliment.

Rachel smiled. "Go get some shower. Then join me for lunch."

Percy nodded and went to his room. The guest bedroom was just as fancy as the living room. The king sized bed was covered with red silk sheets and looked big enough to fit three Percys. In front of it was a TV fixed onto the wall and a dresser that was twice as tall as him. On the far side of the room was the shower, so Percy decided to clean himself up.

When Percy looked in the mirror, he almost yelped. His right eye was bruised, but not swollen, thankfully. But it was in an ugly shade of purple. His body, where he'd been punched, also gave the same color.

Those bodyguards really gave him a good whallop.

When he got out of the shower, he found that he had brand new clothes waiting for him folded neatly on the bed. He wore them and found that it fit him perfectly.
