Bennifer, maybe it's right

Chapitre 9

Jen's POV

We landed a few hours ago, and we're walking to our house for the week. It's pretty amazing, it feels actually so safe, even if we're alone in a giant forest around us.

"You're really didn't bring me here to kill me, did you?" I kind of smile as he takes my bag inside the house.

"You don't trust me?" He suddenly looks at me seriously.

"No.. I mean of course Ben I trust you" I laugh as I walk inside and jump on the bed.

"So, we have only one bed, so I will sleep on the couch-" "-No!" I cut him, "No, we're adults, and we slept together before, there's no way you sleep on the couch tonight while I'm in that extremely big bed" I smile.

After we settled in, we decided to go for a walk. Without talking, we walked, his hand on my waist, keeping me close to him.

Then he asks "You remember when we met for the first time?" "Omg, of course, on the set of Gigli ! I had such a big crush on you, you can't imagine how much" I laugh.

"Really, Jen the second I looked at you on this set, I immediately fell in love with you". I freeze a little, but I try to act the more normal I could. Okay, I'm not that good at acting because he notices.

"Don't be scared, please, I'm not running away today" He smiles, holding out his hand. "I mean, even if I want to run, I don't know where I could go" I hit him playfully.

Ben's POV

I'm unpacking my suitcase as Jen is showering, she's still a little stressed about our relationship, and I can't be angry at her for that. It's big, like really big. We know each other so much that it's scary, we know our flaws too. But she's so special, I can't let her go now.

"Hi" She shyly says, coming into the room, wearing only her towel. " Hi beautiful" I smile slowly as I take one of my bags.

"What's that?" She asks. " Look, this is my personal camera, and I want to film every great moment of each others, so we will always remember our relationship. I'm not missing any part of you. But only if you're okay with that".

"I love that idea, and I have something for you too" She smiles as she comes closer to give a kiss, " but after diner."

She's teasing me, and she's very strong at that game. I begin to cook her some easy things like pasta, and bring her a plate on the couch.

After her while she blanches "Did you hear that?" "Jen, I'm sure it's nothing, we are in the forest, noises are normal" I laugh a little but stop when I realise that she's really worried. "Hey, hey" I take her in my arms, "That's okay, I'm here, and we're close to other people, I will protect you even if a bear comes in the house" She laughs slightly as she stays in my arms.

Almost an hour later, at the end of the movie that we were watching, she is quietly asleep still in my arms. I decide to carry her to our bed. It feels strange to call it "our" but so right at the same time.

When I pull up the bed sheets as she stretches. "Wait Ben, I have something for you" She says half asleep and takes a small box out of her bag.

"It can wait for tomorrow you know" I say a little nervous as I turn on my bedside lamp.

"No, no, go open it"

I begin to open the little box and I can't believe what I am seeing.

"I think it comes back to you, because it's yours, and even if I'm a little scared, I want this and I really want you, even if I can't really express everything that I feel. I missed you and I really need you"

I look at her, with little tears in my eyes. She just gave my watch, exactly the same that she gave me in 2002. I never thought she would keep it. "I... I don't- Jen- thank you so much, oh dear, I missed so much" I say as I kiss her, with all my love and desire for her.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you" I keep saying these words to her, kissing her every single sentence. She's just standing there smiling at me, proud of herself. "You're beautiful, you know that?" I say as she wipes away a remnant of a tear on my cheek. "I think it might be a good idea to try your camera for this moment" She says kissing me one more time.

I take a little video of her, of each other playing with some pillows, and after a while I put down the camera.

No One's POV

They cuddle in their bed, enjoying time together, when Jennifer begins to kiss him with more passion and desire.

"I'm ready" She suddenly says. "For you, for us, for our family" She continues as she kisses me, our tongue fighting for dominance.

"I'm so ready too, and I really, really want you" He says, trying to catch his breath as he puts his girlfriend on his lap, kissing her neck...
