Madam Pomfrey insisted on keeping Harry in the hospital wing for the rest of the weekend. He didn't argue or complain. He had a stream of visitors, all intent on cheering him up. Hagrid sent him a bunch of earwiggy flowers that looked like yellow cabbages, and Ginny Weasley, blushing furiously, turned up with a get-well card she had made herself, which sang shrilly unless Harry kept it shut under his bowl of fruit.
The Gryffindor team visited again on Sunday morning, this time accompanied by Wood, who told Harry (in a hollow, dead sort of voice) that he didn't blame him in the slightest. Celeste left Harry's bedside only at night. But nothing anyone said or did could make Harry feel any better, because they knew only half of what was troubling him.
Celeste was worried for him. He told her about him seeing the grim but made her promise not to tell Ron and Hermione as they would be very dramatic about it. She agreed and promised to keep it a secret. She had also told him that she had seen it as well. So maybe it wasn't the grim.
She was taking her Crup Jack for a walk one early morning, when she bumped into a certain Diggory again. He walked over to her with a shit eating grin on his face.
"Hey Cel," He greeted.
"Alright Ced?" She asked.
"Good, Great actually." He said, "How are you?"
"I'm okay," She said, "Just bringing Jack out for a walk before I visit Harry again." Cedric bent down to rub jack. The Crup nuzzled his head into Cedric's hand to Celeste's surprise. He stood back up again looking at Celeste.
"How is he doing?" He asked concerned.
"He's fine," She smiled at him, "PomPom is just keeping him in for longer cause she's so dramatic." He laughed at the nickname she gave for Madame Pomferey.
"Well that's good." He smiled.
The two chatted for another while before Celeste had to go and see Harry. They said their goodbyes and agreed to plan to meet up again. Maybe take Jack out for a walk together.
It was a relief to everyone when Harry returned to the noise and bustle of the main school on Monday, where he was forced to think about other things, even if he had to endure Draco Malfoy's taunting. Malfoy was almost beside himself with glee at Gryffindor's defeat.
Malfoy spent much of their next Potions class doing Dementor imitations across the dungeon; Ron finally cracked and flung a large, slippery crocodile heart at Malfoy, which hit him in the face and caused Snape to take fifty points from Gryffindor.
Celeste thought she'd never laughed so hard in her life. The look on Draco's face when he got hit, was hilarious.
"If Snape's teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts again, I'm skiving off," said Ron as they headed toward Lupin's classroom after lunch.
"Check who's in there, Hermione."Celeste grinned smugly knowing Moony was back. Hermione peered around the classroom door.
"It's okay!"
Moony was back though. He definitely looked like he had been through hell and back. Celeste knew that it was because of the moon and she had a feeling Hermione did as well as she kept asking Celeste not so subtle questions about werewolves."It's not fair, he was only filling in, why should he give us homework?"
"We don't know anything about werewolves —"
"— two rolls of parchment!"
"Did you tell Professor Snape we haven't covered them yet?" Lupin asked, frowning slightly. The babble broke out again.
"Yes, but he said we were really behind —"
"— he wouldn't listen —"
"— two rolls of parchment!"
