Celeste knew Hermione was right about her father sending the Firebolts. She can't help but wonder if he sent her the ring as well. She decided to keep that information to herself, if it was jinxed, surely something would've happened her already. Harry and Ron on the other hand took to ignoring Hermione. To say Celeste was pissed about it was an understatement. She was only looking out for her best friends. Harry would've done the same thing for her, she hoped he would anyways. Harry knew that Hermione had meant well, but that didn't stop him from being angry with her. He was scared he would never see the broom again.
Celeste reassured him countless of times that he will and to leave Hermione alone. Ron was just being Ron and was furious with Hermione, earned him a few whacks from Celeste.
Hermione, who remained convinced that she had acted for the best, started avoiding the common room. Celeste knew she had taken refuge in the library as she was working on Buckbeak's case. Celeste occasionally went to join her, but wasn't much help as she kept getting distracted by a certain Hufflepuff boy.
Currently this was the case. Hermione and Celeste were trying to find books about the law of magical creatures defence, when a certain group of Hufflepuffs entered the library with Ron. Celeste and Ron both liked the group, especially because of Cedric for Celeste and in Ron's case Sophia.
Cedric felt a pair of eyes looking at him and turned around locking eyes with Celeste. He nodded his head at her to join him, Ron and their friends. She gave him sad eyes, side eyeing Hermione, basically saying she can't leave her. She didn't want to leave her anyways as she felt bad. What Celeste hadn't realised was that Hermione had seen the interaction and whacked Celeste on the arm.
"Celeste!" She whisper shouted, "You can join them, I don't mind anyways because know offence, you're not great help."
Celeste gasped in mock offence, "Hermione Granger, I am your friend. And I am here trying to help you with all of my great intelligence and you're being an ungrateful little whore."
Hermione just snorted rolling her eyes, "Seriously Leste." She deadpanned. "Just go." She smiled at her friend.
"You know what?," Celeste sneered jokingly at Hermione, the girl just looked at her amused, "I was going too, but now I am going to stay just to bug you." She crossed her arms.
What the two hadn't realised was a certain Diggory had walked up to their table behind Celeste while they were playfully arguing. Hermione was the first to notice and began to smirk at Celeste who was in the middle of a rant about 'How good of a friend she is' and how 'Hermione is lucky to have her.' A snort brought her out of her rant. She turned and saw Cedric smirking amusedly down at her. She smiled up at him sweetly, before turning to a triumphant looking Hermione with a glare. 'You're dead.' She mouthed to Hermione, to which she mouthed 'Try me Bitch.' back.
"Hermione," Cedric began, taking the two girls attention back to him, "Would you mind if i take Celeste away?"
"No i don't mind," Hermione said looking at him, then looked back to Celeste, "In fact please do." She smirked at the black haired girl. Celeste smirked back saying she'll get her back.
"Come on Ced," The grey eyed girl huffed, "I know where I'm not wanted." She pouted up to the Hufflepuff. He looked down at her and immediately his gaze softened. Even though it was a fake pout, he couldn't help but feel bad.
"No, no Cedric!," Hermione rushed, "Don't look into her eyes. Don't fall for it. You'll be trapped in her gaze!"
"It's too late Hermione!,"Cedric began looking worried, "She's got me. She has me wrapped around her finger."
