These days were hard for a lot of people, but not as hard for a girl named Zofia. Zofia was different from any average girl, she was born with fox ears and a fox tail, she was different, and that wasn't allowed. Her kind was hunted down, so she had to wear a hood to hide herself. She was forced to carry a sword and shield because her father wanted her protected, even though her father was ashamed of her. This was how her life was going to stay, until now.

Zofia was walking through the forest, she brought her shield and sword, just in case. She went in the forest and she took off her hood and pull out her tail, she would lay down and look at the clouds, but today she felt like training, in times like this you needed to know how to defend yourself.

As she was training, she suddenly felt as though someone was watching, she placed back on her hood and tucked in her tail, hopefully no one saw, she looked around, she looked up in the trees and saw a dark figure with white glowing eyes.

In defence she took out her sword.

"Don't you dare go near me!" She threatened. "Or I'll have your head on a platter."

The figure just laughed, then jumped down and landed right in front of her.

"You don't even know how to fight, do you?"

She backed up, she could fight, but she wasn't the greatest of fighters, she couldn't even kill a fly, she aimed her sword to the figure's neck and tried to seen threatening.

"Stay back!" She commanded, the figure came closer and closer. "I'm... warning... you."

The figure stayed in the shadows, but as soon as the light hit him, she saw everything, he stared at her with his greyish eyes.

"Why are you here?" He asked, ruffling with his light blond hair.
"I always go here." Zofia answered, trying not to crack, she was nervous.

The boy chuckled, why? He turned around, back facing her, she thought she was in the clear but suddenly the man turned around swiftly pulling out his sword and aiming it at her neck.

"You shouldn't be here." He said intimidating.

Zofia had to make a choice, she could leave and stay alive, or she could try to stand up for herself and get killed, her sane answer was to leave, but her insane answer was to stay. She backed up and decided to leave, but as soon as her back was facing the figure, the man placed an arm on her shoulder, she screamed and turned around wielding her sword. The man dropped his sword, trying to show peace.

"While you're here, why don't I train you?"

Train me? Zofia thought, she wasn't sure to trust the guy, but she nodded in agreement. The man smiled.

"My name is Jone, and you are?"
"Zofia." She mumbled shyly.

Jone smiled. "You don't need to be afraid of me."

Zofia smiled, he would say this now, but as soon as he saw her true self, he would leave, just like everyone else has, or he would kill her, was he a hunter? Jone took out his sword, she was amazed by the golden engravings on the silver blade, he gripped the golden handle tightly.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you." Jone reassured, it didn't help the fact how he almost cut off Zofia's hair.

Zofia's legs wobbled as she took out her sword and went in her fighting stance, she held her shield tightly, she glared at him. He was in his fighting stance, he ran towards her, she lifted up her shield, smashing it into wooden pieces. She knew she was screwed, she was so screwed.

Jone spun around swiftly and began running to her like a bull, she screamed and jumped out of the way, Jone laughed as she wiped off all the dirt and dust.
