I wake the next morning and go to the kitchen to pour myself a bowl of cereal while listening to music from Friday on my couch. I sing along to every word when I don't have a mouthful of food. Music is a passion of mine, I don't know what'd I do without it. I wouldn't survive. I'd die.

I still have drawing and reading to fill my heart, but music is different. Something about a melody and the harmony does something to me that I can't even begin to describe. It helps me. I don't have the words.

This is how I spend the majority of my days. I'll either be listening and/or singing along to music, drawing, reading. Sometimes I'll even go to Tony's lab. Which is actually a good idea, I'm gonna go do that.

I get up to put on a nicer shirt in case someone else is in the lab with him and I have to look at least a little presentable.

Turns out I was right. Bruce, who I've met plenty of times and he still doesn't know who I really am, is there too. All he knows me as is Starks helper, not an 'intern', like Peter. I help him out every once in a while with the smarts that I gained from my fathers genes.

"Hey, Dr. Banner."

"Hey, Lilith."

"Mr. Stark." I smirk a bit.

"Lilith." He stares through his lashes.

"I'm bored." I sit on a stool in front of his desk. "Need any help?"

"Not as of right now but, you can wait until then."

"Okay."

I just sit there and watch for about an hour with a bit of assistance before the fun is interrupted by Friday informing my dad that Peter is on his way down to the lab. I make a lame excuse to leave for Banner to not suspect anything and Peter to not find out that I 'work' here.

I get back to my floor and boredly spend the rest of my day in there up until seven o'clock rolls around and I have to start getting ready for school in the morning.

I put my backpack in the kitchen on the counter and get my clothes out for the next day. I take a shower and throw on some undergarments and a hoodie before going to the living room.

It's eight now and I just sit on my phone for a while until I can barely hold my eyes open and tell Friday to say goodnight to my family for me before going to bed.

My alarm wakes me early in the moring and I get dressed and keep my straight hair down at my sides. I do my usual morning routine and throw my backpack over my shoulder before going to the secret garage. I choose the same car I do everyday, the black '67 Chevy Impala. My favorite. I get in and turn on my music to make my to Midtown.

I park in my assigned spot and get to walk up the stairs leading to the entrance doors.

"Hey, Eve."

"Hi, Peter."

He has a bit of a large crush on me and really thinks he's hiding it. FYI...he's not.

"How are you?" He continues.

"I'm good." I nod with a grin. "You?"

"I'm good, too." He nods with the same slightly wide eyes as everytime he talks to me.

"Good. I gotta get to class. Bye, Parker." I wave a bit.

"Bye. Eve."

I smile sweetly and walk faster away from him, dropping the fakeness as I go. He's a great kid and super nice, but I just don't feel the same. And the niceness is kinda part of why I'm not interested in being with him or making friends. I feel bad saying that, but it's the truth.

I get to my locker and grab what I'll need for my first class, where I wave at the teacher as I step in. I take my seat in the back and get my stuff ready before the bell rings just a few minutes later and the students finish piling in together.

I have a few classes before going to lunch that I share with Peter. I get my tray of food and sit on a bench against the wall, where I can observe just the same as I did at the party.

My eyes flicker to Peters and he quickly looks away, making me snicker as I turn back to my food. I look back at him through my lashes before lifting my head with a grin and he and Ned wave. I wave back with my fingers and watch as MJ begins to make fun of them.

The day goes by like normal and I drop all my stuff off in my locker, other than my homework that I put in my backpack as I take it out. I begin to make my way towards the exit when I pass by Peters locker, just to hear him slam his locker shut, making me sigh in disappointment.

"Hey, Peter."

"Hey, can I walk with you?" He breathes quickly.

"Yeah, sure."

"Can I ask why you always sit alone at lunch?" She squints his eyes a bit.

"Don't have any friends."

"I'm sorry." He shakes his head with an apology ready to come out.

"Don't be, I prefer it." I cross my arms over my abdomen. "They expect you to be a certain way and I'm not doing that for anyone."

"Wow." He whispers then clears his throat. "That's cool. I'd do that but, I like my friends."

"I would hope you did." I smile a bit as we walk out the door. "I'm going this way." I nod to the right. "Bye, Peter."

"Bye." He waves a bit before pointing. "Is that your car?"

"My dads, but he doesn't drive it. So, I guess, it is." I nod sideways while opening the door.

"It's awesome." He smiles.

"I know." I smirk and drop in.

I turn it on with a roar and wave as I pull out of the parking spot to finally make my way back home.
