--Chapter 2--
I just stared in shock.
" Well say something, please?" she begged. I didn't think before I reacted. I got up and stood in front of her. I leaned down and smashed my lips to hers. There was no sparks. There was bombs and it felt like I was flying. My stomach flipped and filled with butterflies. I pulled back. I walked away and sat on the other side of the couch. I hung my head.
" Sorry," I said quietly. I felt the couch move. I heard pounding on the door. I got up, just barely getting out of Kayden's hold. I opened the door. As soon as I did, I was pushed to the floor. I quickly got up. I looked up to see Cam. I pushed him outside and closed the door behind us.
" What the fuck, Cam?!" I yelled.
" I just fucking seen you kiss her!" he yelled back. I looked down at my feet. I was pushed down again. I stayed down. I didn't bother getting up. I was kicked in the side. Thats when I got up. I pounced up and went backwards and got into a fighter's stance. Cam came at me again. He went to punch me and I blocked him. I punched him in the lip, it automatically started bleeding. He punched me in the jaw, then tried again, but I blocked him the second time. I went to knee him in the stomach, but he was pulled back. Kayden was dragging him back. She turned him around and grabbed his face with her hands.
" Hey, stop. Babe, calm down," she soothed. She pecked him on the lips. He pulled her to him and crashed his lips to hers. I looked away and walked back inside. I closed and locked the door. I walked to the back door and locked that too. I walked to my room and sat in the middle of my room and curled into a ball. Tears started to stream down my cheeks. Not only did I lose one of my best friends, I also know that I will never have a chance with Kayden. I would never come close to living up to Cam. I just laid there and cried. I heard a knock on the window. I stayed down. I heard it again. I then heard banging on the door. I ignored that too. I finallly fell asleep after about 15 minutes of that.
