Not Everything Has A Happy Ending

Synopsis: Hope thinks she's found a way to defeat the darkness

Hope held her side where she stabbed herself, it was the only way to get rid of the darkness that she consumed, she knew, she desperately wanted to say something to her family or boyfriend. But she was bleeding fast, she knew her time was coming and it was better off them not seeing her like this.

"Hurry she can't be much further" Gideon said, he was followed by other footsteps

Hope stood up straight trying to hide the blood pouring out of her so she could make everything look fine, even though it wasn't true. She knew that she'd die a slow and painful death, that was because of all the darkness in her. But she wanted to go fast so she wouldn't have to see her parents cry over her death

Gideon got there, his dad was behind him along with Emma and Killian "Hopey!" He ran over and hugged her, then kissed her, but she didn't return the hug "Hope?..."

"Hope what have you done?!" Gold asked shocked realizing what was going on

"I had to rid everyone of the darkness, of the problem" she moved her hand and revealed the blood that now coated them "so I did just that"

"N-No!" Killian ran over as she fell to her knees and caught her "No Hope why?" He asked cradling her

"I had to rid the world of darkness Daddy, I couldn't face the fact that I was the cause of so much destruction and murder, it was the only way"

"No, Beanstalk it wasn't" he cried moving her curls behind her ear

"I-I saw the fear in your e-yes after I- I thre-w that- that guy out the window, t-there's no hope"

Tears started falling from Killian's face as he caressed Hope's face "But if you go there would be no light in my life, the darkness won't go"

"There'd b- be no da- dark one that's enough for me"

Emma knelt down next to Killian and squeezed Hope's hand gently while Gold pulled Gideon close to him covering his eyes, they all sat like that until Hope died.

Emma walked up to Killian, who was sitting up against the tree, still cradling Hope

"I called my dad... They're on their way to collect the body" she said quietly

"It's not THE body Swan!, She was our daughter, my little girl" he chocked staring off into the distance

Emma sighed "I know Killian... We're gonna have to start planning the funeral--"

"No! No" Killian shook his head "Emma, she wouldn't want that, she wouldn't want to have some bloody funeral knowing that we'd just all cry over her not being here"

Killian looked down at Hope and started rocking her "she had so much potential, she had such a kind heart, she loved people, she wanted to be an actress and a pirate"

Emma looked down sad, but the next words out of Killian's mouth shattered her heart "true love is such a bloody lie"

"W-what?"

"It killed OUR DAUGHTER Emma!, If she wasn't the bloody product of true love she wouldn't have this shit expectations on her!, She would have had a normal childhood and she wouldn't be dead!"

Her jaw dropped in disbelief "Killian-- you- you can't mean that, we're true love- I- I'm the product of true love"

"I mean it Em' oh boy do I mean it" he sighed

"What about us? None of us would be alive without it, you would STILL be in the underworld without it, WE ARE TRUE LOVE. What's gonna happen to us? Divorce? I lost my daughter I can't loose you too Killian" she cried

Killian didn't say anything. "We're gonna finish this discussion at home"

*AT HOME*

"Killian please, we have to talk about this" Emma begged, "we're not discussing it Swan" he walked away trying to ignore her

"You can't be serious! You're giving up on us because Hope sacrifices herself?!"

"No! Swan! I'm giving up because our daughter is dead all because of me! I could see what my darker half was doing, he manipulated her! She's dead because of me and that would have never happened without that stupid thing dangling over her head!"

Emma hugged him tight "Killian please, we know she's at peace she's not in the underworld"

"We don't know that Emma, she killed people, she wasn't happy with herself, she has so much left in life, she might have an unfinished business and it's all my fault" he cried

"That still doesn't mean you should give up on us" she whispered kissing his hand "I KNOW how close you were and I'm sorry this happened, and I will do whatever it takes to fix your heart" she kissed his face

"but please Killian, I need you as much as you need me" her voice started to break "please, I can't have us end in divorce or hating each other"

"It won't Emma, I promise" he said kissing her

*IN THE UNDERWORLD - Hope's P.O.V*

I woke up in the middle of the streets of a place that looked just like home, only it wasn't. The air was much different here, it was dull and dry, there was no smell at all.
Everything around it looked red, as if it's reminding me like I'm not home.
My side ached, I still had that stab wound in. how was I still bleeding?
I used my magic to heal myself and continued walking around, maybe I'd be able to see something or someone familiar, although I doubt I'd find anything, all of Regina's family moved on, Gideon's family were in the river of lost souls and-- oh no

They're here, what are you thinking Hope? You did kill them, of course they'd be here!

"Mind talking to you?" A familiar voice said with an accent

"AH!" I jumped back and fell on the ground

I looked up and saw HIM, the dark version of my father he was a lot paler than my dad and his hair was a bit longer and messy

"H-how? How are you here? I- I- I I stopped the darkness!"

"You only thought you did beanstalk, but I'm still alive, inside your head and here in the underworld"

"How? The dark one is dead, I STOPPED THE DARKNESS!" I looked back and saw the people I offed coming closer

Dark Hook looked at someone behind me and smirked "you wanna tell her or shall I?"

I looked back and saw Dark Swan "mama?"

"You see Hopey" she hasn't called me that since I was five "you weren't supposed to kill yourself, someone else was supposed to kill you. The dark one is only down here"

The people I had killed were right behind me, Smee, Barnaby, Officer Hopper, the lost boys. They all looked mad. Then the world went dark

A/N: and I am gonna end it here, I want to leave it like that, if you want more, then you have to comment for it or I'm just gonna assume that you don't want to see anymore of what I just did
