Park Jimin couldn't believe what he had heard when he woke up. A brain had been found behind the mirror in his fathers room.

Him and his closest friend, Taehyung, had gotten the autopsy results, proving that the brain was truly his fathers, but they gave no information other than there being a black and blue substance within the linings of the brain. There was a search for his fathers body, but it wasn't found.

His father's bedroom had been blocked by yellow tape since the police had been notified. The bodyguards who had come to his fathers bedroom a few hours before had been taken in for questioning, but all the police got from them was that they were notified by their boss.

Jimin was scanning his father's room, taking a good look at the objects filling the space, and the people in there. There was one person who caught his attention though.

He looked normal, but he seemed kind of...off. Jimin shook those thoughts out of his head. He shouldn't judge someone just like that. He was just about to leave the room when a voice called out his name.

It was the guy Jimin had been observing.

"Um, yes sir..." "Jungkook, my name is Jungkook, " the now named man said.

"Well, nice to meet you Jungkook. I'm Jimin."

"Oh yes, I've heard. Anyways, I just wanted to ask you if your father had any enemies or people who wanted to get rid of him," said Jungkook.

Who is this guy? Thought Jimin. He doesn't have a badge. One I don't recognize that's for sure.

"No, my dad was the nicest person ever. A great dad too. Why do you ask?" asked Jimin.

"Well I'm just thinking that, maybe your father could have done something for his life to end this way," said Jungkook. He had got here after tracking you, just to find a case of a now deceased man.

"Well, I'm sorry uh"

"Jungkook"

"Right, Jungkook, but I don't think you've got the right theory for how my dad died," said Jimin. He didn't mean to sound defensive, but that was how it came out.

"Oh, sorry if i've offended you Mr Park-"

"Just call me Jimin."

"Right, Jimin. Well I'm sorry if I've offended you but I think it would be a great help if we were to think about possible reasons to why your dad died, even though they might sound a little unrealistic." Jungkook said, making the word unrealistic sound suspicious.

But Jimin had no space in his head to worry about the stressing on a word when he had more important things to think about.

"I suppose you're right. Well, i've answered your question Jungkook, but I believe you have a case to crack," said Jimin, ready to end the uncomfortable conversation.

"Oh, right. Well then, I will update you on any clues we have Jimin,"

"Cool," Jimin said before walking away and towards Taehyung who was watching the interaction from afar.

Jimin's head was racing with so many thoughts. His mind had so many questions, yet no answers. That was, until a similar case happened two weeks later.

                                                                                           ~

Taehyung had a lot going through his mind. Two weeks ago him and his closest friend, Jimin, had been investigating Mr. Park's case.

It was shocking for sure, even odd. They thought that it was a one time thing, until the same thing happened to his aunt. Taehyung didn't understand what was going on. His aunt was the nicest person on earth, even though a few times she lashed out.

Her brain was found on her vanity, a blue and black substance dripping down the dresser and mixing with blood. There were also bloody handprints on the vanity mirror.

Both Taehyung and Jimin were at this crime scene since they believed that it was linked to the one concerning Jimin's dad.

While Taehyung was talking to the police, Jimin was taking a look around the room. He tended to do that whenever he was in a tough situation. It was when he spotted a familiar figure in the room did he stop looking around.

"Jungkook?"

"Oh, hi Jimin, I'm surprised you remember me,"

"Ha, how could I forget your face. You were assigned to this case too I see." Jungkook decided to take the face comment as a compliment.

"Ah yes, since this case and the other have similarities, they think it means something.

"Do you?" asked Jimin, curious on this mans opinion.

"Of course, but to be honest I'm kind of wasting my time here."

"What? What do you mean?" Jimin replied confusedly.

Taehyung had finished talking with the police and was now heading over to the two who were suspiciously whispering to each other.

"Oh, hello Mr Jeo- hey!" said a startled Taehyung while Jungkook pulled both Jimin and Taehyung to the corner of the room so that no one could clearly hear what he was about to say.

"Shh, let me continue"

"Continue what"

"He was saying that he's wasting his time here"

"Well if your wasting your time then leave."

"Wait no it's not like that. I mean that they are still trying to figure out what is going on but what if I told you that I already know murderer is," Jungkook said to clear the misunderstanding.

"Wait you do?"

"Mhm. Truth is, I've been looking for them for months and I recently tracked them to this area. "

"Really. Do you know their name?"

"Yup. Her name is y/n. I used to know her but recently she's changed. I was following her after seeing her at the grocery store and saw that she had knives and disposable gloves in her basket. I also saw her climb into that window over there," said Jungkook while pointing to the window in the room of the crime scene.

"Wait, if you knew all of this, why didn't you report it to the police?" Taehyung said suspiciously. It doesn't really make sense if Jungkook has the answers to this whole case but haven't told the authorities about it.

"Thats the thing, I can't tell the police."

"Well, why not"

"Because, she'll be able to convince them that she's innocent. You guys don't know how powerful she is, trust me. I've known her for years."

"Well then how are we supposed to catch her. By ourselves?"

"Thats the only option I see right now, but I don't think she's going to stop here. I'm pretty sure she has a whole list of people to kill."

"Well, since you said you've been tracking her, do you know where she is now?"

"Not right at this moment, but I can easily track her if you want me to," Jungkook offered.

"That would be really helpful Mr. Jeon."

"Just call me Jungkook"

"Ok then Jungkook, we'll work with you. And don't worry, we won't tell anyone this."

"Good. You won't regret your choice," assured Jungkook.

But he was oh so wrong.
