Chapter 2

You were not ready.

Not for all of this chaos. 

Once the alarms and bombs were set off, you all sprung into action. You couldn't find your sister or Bang Chan, so you could only hope for their safety. 

The staff and guards were trying to get you guys. You saw a few dead bodies here and there, nothing you hadn't expected. 

You were just hoping the bodies didn't belong to your fellow comrades. 

You ran and ran. Ran from the guards. From the scientists. From the syringes. From the needles. From the past.

You were running and weren't planning on stopping until you reached freedom. 

Everything was fine until it wasn't.

The room where the teleportation devices were was blocked by a mob of fighting bodies.

Everyone was being attacked by the staff and guards and they kept on shooting at you guys.

You all fought back, unleashing the power they gave you themselves.

You saw that one of the guards was destroying everything in their path, including lives. You hid behind one of the medicine carts. It wasn't much protection but it was something. 

You took a good look at the guard. He had a strong build and a sleeve tattoo. He had a few piercings on his face too. He was handsome, you'll admit. 

You had now zoned out from the world around you and was just stuck in a daze. The beauty of the man was blinding you. Little did you know that while you were in a daze, the guard you were observing saw you and was now advancing towards your "hiding place".

He grabbed your shoulder and yanked you away from the medicine cart. With you on the ground he pointed his gun at you and was about to shoot, but someone had grabbed both of your ankles and pulled you between the guards legs.

This action caused the guard above you to trip and fall on his face.

You looked up to see who had saved your life and was surprised to see Minho. You guys have never really talked before since he always seemed to be annoyed with you, so you kept your distance. 

"COME ON GET YOUR BUTT UP !" he yelled at you over the noise.

You stood up and scrambled for the door with the devices.

Since the door to the room was already open due to the people before you, you just had to run in, grab a device, and activate it. 

Although those steps were easy, they couldn't be any harder for you. 

When you entered the room, most of the devices were broken, so you had to take a quick scan of the room and the floor before you found a good one. 

You were about to pick up a device when you heard the cock of a gun from behind you. At that sound did you press the button to teleport. You were quick, but not quick enough. The person with the gun, now you had identified as the guard from before, had shot you in the arm before you were fully teleported into a void of darkness.
