"It's impossible to shop with you guys." Lacey whined, "Jade secretly knows and cares about everything and Taylor not so secretly knows and cares about nothing."
I laughed a little, "My comfort zone stretches the vicinity of Hot Topic."
Jade rolled her eyes, "Of course I wake up looking amazing but I need to harness my general perfection into punkness."
I roll my eyes, "Jade you're trash, rebutle?"
"Trash queen." She corrects.
Lacey smirks, "Hella trash."
I can't help it, "Other mans treasure trash."
Jade looks proud, "'is this recycling?' trash."
"The idea that your level of trash is not recycling is so hard to conceive that just the notion of it is used to cut diamonds." Lacey smiles, flicking blonde hair over her shoulder.
I laugh then turn to Jade, "If you plan to take advantage of the phrase "is so hard it's used to cut diamonds' then I suggest you don't or I'll kick you."
Jade laughs before pouting a little, "C'mon she practically is asking me to."
Lacey shakes her head, "Y'all think to dirty." She laughs.
"Coming from a girl who's probably read more intense stuff then fifty shades of grey on Wattpad." I roll my eyes.
"You have no evidence." Lacey smirks, raising an eyebrow.
"Well now we do." Jade laughs, she stops suddenly, "Hey is that Jaxon?" She asks, pointing at the relative herd of teenaged football players walking past.
"Yeah that's him, should we say hi?" I ask, feeling a little uncomfortable going in the crowd.
Lacey shifts from foot to foot, biting her lip. Jaxon and three other boys- I think their names are like Conner Aiden and Mathew- break away and start walking down the hall where we're standing.
I look at Jade and shrug, "Hey Jaxon." I say, smiling as he walks by.
He smirks lazily, looking overly confident of himself, "Hey Taylor." He replies.
I can feel a cosmic shift in the universe, my perception of Jaxon tumbling into a different place as he leans against a railing looking stupidly pleased with himself.
"You know these girls?" The one with a buzz cut, I think Conner, asks, smirking.
"They're my brothers friends, yeah." Jaxon replies easily distancing his social life from ours as he continues to smirk.
"Oh yeah the one with the band," Aiden laughs, "yeah he'd definitely know girls like this."
"Yeah." Jaxon laughs, "He always gets to know these ones."
Jade looks about ready to slap someone, she's never been able to re direct, hide, or contain her anger. Lacey retreats into her phone, probably silently telling us going outside was a bad idea.
I however can't really express anger in public, I start smirking too, nearly mirroring Jaxon, "Little Jaxy is always tagging around Max, we see each other a lot. He just shows up wherever his brother is." I laugh, watching the guys gear up to tease Jaxon about everything I'm saying.
May as well make a point. "He's kinda a classic little brother, asking Max about what music to listen too and all, we're all pretty sick of it."
I feel Jades glare soften and sharpen at once, she knows what I'm doing by tearing down Jaxon. Lacey also seems to know, I can almost feel her sink further into the digital world.
