"Hi."

Star's deep voice resonated from the other line and yongsun couldn't help but admire how the latter sounds.

"We've been communicating for several months now, but this is the only time I think about calling. Shame on me. Anyway, how are you, cutie?" Star added, chuckling.

Yongsun thought her voice was already amazing, but that laugh is truly exceptional, and for some inexplicable reason, Yongsun blushed slightly. She now believes she was insane for being so agitated by a simple chuckle.

"Dumbass," Yongsun could only mutter, but it was enough for Star to grin in the other line. Yongsun isn't the only one who thinks she's insane though; the other one does as well.

"Even on the phone, you sounded like you were on your period every day. Don't be such a grumpy cutie."

Yongsun rose from her chair and began cleaning the table. She sets her phone on the kitchen counter and puts Star on speaker. She was eating her breakfast, which was, of course, provided by Star. She now feels as if the woman is her sugar momma and she is the spoiled brat who always gets free meals. Though even if she refuses to accept the food, the delivery man always leaves them on her doorstep, forcing her to accept them.

"Why are you calling? Don't you have anything else to do?" Yongsun inquired as she took the plates and placed them in the sink.

"I do, but hearing your voice is much more important, and I won't squander my opportunity."

Yongsun scoffed at the latter's response, rolling her eyes, but a smile was visible on her face. Star was always saying things like this, making greasy remarks that made her wince. Though despite her cringe, she strangely finds herself liking every word she says.

"So, how's the breakfast?"

"Great, but stop sending me food, and flowers, and letters, and gifts, and whatever. My neighbors were always looking at me every time the delivery guy arrived holding various flowers and food, and they think those guys are my suitors because it changes every time," Yongsun expressed.

"Should I deliver it myself so that they don't speculate?"

That caused Yongsun to pause in her work. The mere thought of Star entering her home—a stranger entering her home—makes her feel strange and scared. She knows star is harmless; the woman has already proven that she isn't a threat, but yongsun doesn't want to trust anyone just yet, especially if she hasn't seen the person's appearance. It's better to be safe than sorry.

"Uhm, no."

"Too bad, I might consider doing that."

Yongsun just rolled her eyes, knowing it was a joke, and went to the sink to wash the dishes she had used, but before she could turn on the faucet, she heard Star say something on the other line that caused her to pause for another second.

"Let's date."

Yongsun only frowned and continue.

"I told you, no picture, no date."

"Don't you want to see me in a suspenseful way? That will be cool."

"I'm mindful about my safety." Yongsun honestly stated.

"But you already see me, and we even kiss."

It was a faint reply on the other line, which Yongsun missed because the counter, where she placed her phone, is meters away from the sink. She couldn't hear what Star said, so she didn't waste any more time asking it again.

"You're the one who decides where we'll meet; choose crowded places if you think I'll abduct you or something."

"Which I'm sure won't happen because I think you'll give yourself to me willingly," Star added, and despite the fact that Yongsun can't see her face, she knows the woman was smirking. Is she that confident with herself? Yongsun murmured to herself.

What star said, on the other hand, makes sense. If she's concerned about her safety, she could meet her in a location where she knows she'll be safe. She will set a time for them to meet and ensure that Star arrives first. If she doesn't like her or if she is, in fact, a man, she could simply ditch her and block her number.

It took a minute of silence for them, as yongsun sighed in defeat, enough for Star to hear.

"So, date?" the woman inquired again, confident that she had persuaded the other to agree.

"Tss, fine."
