Yongsun's heart was racing as she walked to the cafe where she and Star had agreed to meet. She told the woman to be there an hour before she arrived, and she didn't even object or say it was unfair. Star agrees, tells Yongsun 'okay,' and they arrive, and now they're here.. about to see each other personally.
She knows everything that will happen today will be fantastic and enjoyable, but she can't help but be a little nervous. She's not the type of person who enjoys socializing; rather, she prefers to stay at home and watch movies until she passes out. Yes, she's famous, and if you're famous, you always talk to people and have fun with them, but she's the polar opposite. She's an introvert, shy, and lonely, and her two best friends are the only people she considers talking to.
That's why meeting Star today is a stepping stone for her.
Earlier in the car, moonbyul already texted her about what she was wearing and where part she was seated. The woman stated that she was wearing a white t-shirt that was tucked into her black trousers, and then was paired with white sneakers. Her table was in the cafe's back section, and she's waiting for yongsun for 20 minutes already. That message made yongsun slightly relieved knowing if she doesn't see any woman wearing those clothes, she'd automatically evacuate the cafe.
Yongsun was now outside, and the closer she got to the door, the louder her heart pounded inside her chest. She wanted to back out and make excuses, but the thought of Star being disappointed or even upset with her made her stomach churn. She's already arrived, and she's already promised to honor the woman's request for a date. She needs to be brave and confident if she wants this insane day to be over.
She took one last deep breath and stood up straight in front of this massive glass door, which led to the other side of the dimension. However, before she could open the door and face her fear, she came to a halt when her gaze locked on someone's face, causing the blood on her body to drain.
"Shit.." was the only thing Yongsun said before running back to the side, as if she was trying to hide from someone.
She could be, though. Because the woman she hadn't expected to see was inside the cafe. Inside, seating with the most exquisite beauty that everyone admires... is none other than Moonbyul Yi. Her first kiss stealer.
Without thinking too much because her brain is clouded with worry, yongsun fetches her phone and dials Star's number. Without just a blink of an eye, the woman answers the phone.
"Hey! I'm sorry I know this is urgent but can we choose another day to meet?" Yongsun speaks, biting her nails at the thought of moonbyul seating inside the cafe.
She's not prepared to cross paths with her today, let alone look her in the eyes. She's been ignoring her for a few weeks, and having them in the same room will almost certainly suffocate yongsun. She's certain she won't be able to concentrate on Star if she knows someone on the other side of the room was there, perhaps watching them converse.
"Why? Is there something wrong?" Star said on the other line, worry is apparent in her voice.
"No, I mean... ugh! Do you remember the woman who kissed me? She's in the same cafe as us, and I'm not ready to meet her after refusing to see her at her office."
A deafening silence was all Yongsun heard, and she was puzzled if the line had ended accidentally. She parted the phone away from her ears and looked at the screen, only to see that the call was still active.
"Hello, star? I'm sorry but can we just meet some other time--"
"No, we can't."
Hearing how assertive and domineering that voice sounded, Yongsun flinched and felt a shiver run down her spine. She closes her eyes, clutching her phone a little too tightly, before slowly turning to face the person behind the voice.
And, if it's possible, her heart stops beating at the sight of the woman standing finely in front of her.
"Y-You.."
"You already ditch me once, I won't let you ditch me twice.."
".. cutie."
