Ying groaned as she sat up from the hard bamboo mat on the floor. The old wooden boards creaked under the weight. The first thing she noticed was the amount of blood there was on the floor. The traced the array of blood with her hands as if she were Looking for something, after only grazing half of the blood circle her hands went over a smoother more bendable surface.

"Paper?" She questioned grabbing hold of the multiple thin sheets.

On the paper, there was a certain amount of fresh writing and of course, the only thing you do with writing is read it so that is what she did.

"To my dear Jiejie,

In the past thirteen years, many things have changed in the cultivation world, unfortunately, the ritual may not have gone as planned so I apologize for any memory loss, or if you did not reclaim your body. If you have received both of the former, they should at least return to you in the following year...if you don't remember me, I was an acquaintance of your late sister and had grown close to you and her after your first miscarriage. After you died the lang sect faltered and many decibels including me were forced to leave and make a living elsewhere. That is what led me here to the Mo estate, since you now inhabit my body there are a few

things you should know

One: Wei Wuxian died 13 years ago

Two: I work as a librarian and scribe for the Mo family and have been for

the past 7 years

Three: guest cultivators are visiting soon so please be cautious and do whatever they tell you to

four: there should be some money and supplies for you somewhere in the room although I can't quite remember where I put them...

"Li fen, Li fen" the name sounded quite familiar when she said it aloud, yes she remembers her. Yet again her silence was destined to be disturbed by another loud rap at the door.

"Didn't I tell you to get up?! The guest is coming in less than two hours! Please hurry fen-Jie"

Grumbling, Ying stood on her wobbly legs and tried her best to get ready, we'll At least she tried to. A sharp pain came to her left side leg as she stood up. Raising the thin layers of the sleeping Hanfu she found two large gashes on the side of her calf. Despite the pain, she did her best to limp over to the dresser at the sidewall to the right. To be honest, Li fen had grown quite a length since she last saw her as she looked into the dusty hand mirror she also saw that her old Fen-mei had well flourished in a few places.

chuckling she walked closer to the wardrobe and pulled out the only Hanfu she could find. Before she could make it to the other side of the room, however, she heard a loud crack and toppled to the floor
