Blake gingerly opens the door, I'm still frozen at the black rusted gate. "Beth.." He states obviously. His jet black hair sweeps to the right of his face, nearly covering his deep blue eyes, lined with black eyeliner, matching his lip ring snake bites. The 'Black Veil Brides' t-shirt he had put on matched dark purple skinny jeans.
I snap out of my thoughts back into reality and start walking forward, not remembering where i was until, I notice the lime green walls and maple laminate floor boarding. Blake's house I say in my head. I sit on the cream stairs undoing my black Converse laces, and take my earphones out, while Blake grabs me a Rockstar out of the fridge in the kitchen.
Nearly silently tip-toe-ing, I make my way to the kitchen where Blake was resting on a counter, scrolling through his phone. "Is Janice home?" I ask shyly.
"Nah" He replied bluntly.
Fuck this. Time to be the bigger person, I hear my conscience in my head. "So what did we need to 'talk' about" I make an air quote with my fingers. He turns around with his face to the ground, takes a deep breath and begins to speak.
"There's, something you need to know Beth-"
"Yes?" I cut him off sharply. He takes another breath and I notice how hes trying not to get annoyed.
" I don't know how you're going to take this, or even how to tell you-"
"Get to the fucking point Blake!" I snap furiously
"Me and Mollie, are kind of a thing now..." He looks up at me when the only thing I could reply with was silence. Tears start to flood my vision, I think I've stopped breathing, even though my heart is beating at 100mph. "Beth, say something..Please?" he pleads. What can i say? What really can I say? Does he want me to be all "Yeah that's cool." He walks up to me, and I push him away violently "Beth!." I turn around too fast and the last thing I see is the white door that separated the hall way from the kitchen.
* * *
*Beep....Beep....Beep*
My eyes open and flinch at the snow white light. I can see green and blue, and people that look like Smurfs running around. Everyone's rushing about. Something touches my left hand, I swivel my head but pain shoots through me and I remain the way I'm facing. "Beth, I'm sorry." I recognize the voice but I can't remember who. The black shadowed person make their way around to my sight.
"Bl-Bla-" I start
"Shh, beautiful" he hushes me, and strokes my hair so gently, being careful not to hurt me. I remember everything, he's cheating on me with Mollie. Automatically my eyes close and I lay here hoping everything would just disappear. "Hello Bethany" I hear a high pitched, unusual voice, one i hadn't heard before. Another lady dressed like a Smurf.
Shit. I'm in hospital I panic again, my heart does its usual speed up, I fight back tears. "Bethany, I need you to breath slowly. In...1...2...3...4...5..6..7 hold for 1 and out 2...3...4...5...6" she explains so reassuringly, and to my surprise I'm. actually listening to her. I feel my whole body start to relax again. "You seem to have knocked you're head pretty hard, can you tell me what day it is?"
Day? What day? Whats she on about? I remain silent.
"It looks like you're suffering a bit of concussion Bethany, we're going to do a CT scan to make sure you have no brain injuries."
I'm pushed on a white moving table, into what looks like a square doughnut, with a little black square above me. I lay completely still staring into space...

"Here are your instruction for the next week, we've made you an appointment in 3 weeks just to check things are okay, you're free to leave when you're ready" the nurse kindly says.
"Thankyou very much nurse" I smile in delight, my face soon drops when she leaves and walks back to her nurse station. Blake picks up my bag while I get my leather jacket on, and we walk out of A&E in complete silence.
