(It's gonna be like two or three mini time skips, just a day or two. I'm just trying to speed this part up a bit so we can get to the good shit.)

[CONTINUATION OF LAST CHAPTER...]

Third Person.
Unedited.
October 31st.

Everyone's face fell as the doctor took his glasses off and frowned.

"If it's bad news, please don't give it to them. They won't be able to take that." Jason sniffed as he walked up to the doctor privately. "Please, just tell me she's okay." His voice cracked. "Please." His lip quivered.

Everyone watched intensely as they finally saw Jason break down and cry.

"No..." Leo whispered and shook his head.

August huffed, his cheeks slightly growing as his hands slowly slid down his wet face. He felt his heart start to break in pieces as the hospital room suddenly got quiet to him.

Everyone disappeared and all he could see was Kali, all he heard was her, all he felt was Kali and he couldn't take this type of grief, this, this type of pain.

Jason walked back to the group with the doctor and immediately hugged Chris, squeezing him tightly. "She's okay." He sniffed.

Chris let out the heaviest sigh of relief as he felt his heart connect once again. He let out a laugh as he spun Penelope around.

"She's okay guys." Doctor Williams said. "It was just one gun shot wound that actually didn't get as deep as it should have. Judging from the angle of the bullet, it should've hit Ms. De Santa right in her stomach." He pursed his lips.

"It was slightly curved so it seems as if she tried to dodge it." He continued. "But she's alright, just a little banged up. The surgery went fantastic and she responded quite well to the treatment as well, after we rolled her out, she was awake for quite literally fifteen seconds. Um, which one of you is August?" He questioned, looking around at the group.

"Uh, me. I'm August." August sniffed and stood up, still holding Sincere's hand. "Why?"

"The only thing she muttered before she fell back asleep was your name, son." The doctor smiled slightly. "So when she's allowed visitors, I'll allow you in there first just for a bit of privacy. Here's the ring that was on her finger as well. Also, her locket and necklace."

Sincere snatched the necklace and remained quiet. He clenched his jaw and fiddled with the locket with his fingers, his sight directly on Chris who was already looking at him.

Sincere kept his gaze on him heavy until Chris looked away.

"But, that's not all." Doctor Williams blurted. "She lost a lot of blood. Whoever shot this bullet was shooting to kill because there were small tears on her ear and neck. She was grazed with multiple bullets and only hit with the one. If she was five seconds late on moving, she would've died on the scene."
