"Luna get up!" Fire yelled, pulling covers off Luna's bed. "You're going to be late, your brother got up when I called him,"
"I'm not Night," she groaned.
Fire let out a laugh, "I know you're not, just saying." he jumped to the bed below Luna, not showing his age at all with his energetic nature. "Shadow. Up. Now." Luna climbed down from her bed and got dressed in the bathroom, she quickly combed though her black and purple hair. trying to be quick. Shadow never liked it when she took a long time. After getting dressed she walked into the kitchen and was greeted by Night, her older brother, Fire's wife, Josie and their son. Whose name was also Fire as all the elements were given the same name. Though his human name was Flame, to prevent any confusion he was called Flame most of the time. His short red and yellow hair was messily combed over his head. He looked very much like his father with his red-yellow hair and red eyes and the marks below his eyes that he saw no point in hiding. The only difference was his honey colored skin, he got that from his mother.
"Hey, Lunar," he joked. Luna grabbed some food from off the counter.
"Hey," she said back. She was exhausted and didn't feel like talking.
"Shadow's still getting ready," Night said. "Also you missing you eye patch"
"Thanks," she grumbled. Her eye patch wasn't necessary but she liked to have it. People always thought it was because she wanted to be seen as eggy or cool. That wasn't the case for her. Due to some genetic thing one of her eyes was purple just like Shadow and Night but her other eye was white. People would always make fun of her for this or call her blind, which she wasn't. She eventually couldn't take it anymore and started to wear an eye patch over her right eye, or sometimes she would cover it with her hair.
"Smile, come on be happy," Night said putting a hat on her head. She took it off and handed it back to him.
"Luna it's a school for Humans," he put it back on covering her wolf ears and horns. "Come on, we're doing it to deal with it." Night and Shadow are just like Luna Half wolf forth dark angel and forth demon, it just with them you couldn't tell seeing as they didn't have horns like Luna did. Luna thinks she won the genetic lottery but backwards. Her brother might agree with that.
"You're tired today aren't you," Flame laughed. "Come one first day of our new school." Luna grounded and Flame let out another laugh. This was her 12th school in 5 years, she was home schooled before this, but the Elements had to make everyone go to a public school. She was never there long. They always move around, especially when someone is close to discovering their secret. And she never bothered to make friends. Unlike her older brothers and the Elements. For her they were her friends.
"Come one, this is probably going to be your last school so try and make some friends for once." Shadow said entering the kitchen.
"You can't make me," she retorted.
Josie sighed, "Luna please it's good for you." Luna scoffed. They told her this every time.
Shadow could tell his sister was getting frustrated. "Come on guys, let's just go."
'Thanks' Luna thought. Because of them being twins Luna and Shadow had twin telepathy they used this a lot to communicate with each other when they were in different places or to cheat on tests.
'No problem.' Shadow responds to her thoughts.
"Stay safe," Josie called as they walked out the door.
"We'll try mom," Flame called back. At the bus stop the four kids waited in silence. Trying to think of what the day will bring. They gathered on the bus and Flame remembered something as they took seats in the back.
