IF THERE WAS one thing Y/N loved, it was flowers. They just loved how beautiful and vibrant they looked, and how captivating their smells were. How you could make some into food or medicine, how a crown could be weaved with them, how their mere presence was able to light up a gloomy day. They loved everything about flowers. So much so, that they surrounded nearly every inch outside of her house and garden with them. It was almost like the flowers requited their love towards them as well.
Y/N thought of themselves as lucky for getting to live in such a nice place. Granted, their cottage wasn't too big, but it was plenty enough for them. and, how could they complain about the size of their home when they had a garden the size of a castle. With flowers and plants of almost every color and shape growing in it, Y/N's garden was a sight to behold. And recently, it has just kept getting more and more beautiful.
While Y/N tried their best to tend to their garden, there was just too many plants for them to keep in check. Sometimes a few didn't get enough sun, weeds grew, and some were eaten up by pests.
This had always been this way, but recently Y/N had been noticing a change. These occurrences were starting to grow more and more scarce, and the vegetation of their garden was more healthy than ever. Perhaps it was just a coincidence, but it had been like this for almost a month- so some unknown factor was probably causing this, right?
Curious, Y/N turned to their books.

Y/N had a collection of books on all kind of topics: gardening, cooking, potion making- anything someone like them at that time would need. They grabbed one that had caught their eye, and started reading.
