CHAPTER 1 " 2 Days late "

( after a year Daphne's season has ended, Another season has started. Charlotte, William, and the children went on a trip for 1 month in Denmark and Scotland )

( Harriet is 4, Edmund 3, and Charlie just turned 1. They've returned home after a long journey from Denmark to Scotland )

- Cornwall -

Charlotte: ah, home sweet home

( But the children came running out of the carriage and racing to go inside )

William: well, I think it's just us who feels pretty tired

Charlotte: I'll be sleeping the whole afternoon

Anne: your graces, your back

Charlotte: hi Anne, could you do me a favor

Anne: anything ma'am

Charlotte: please do take care of the children, William and I need a decade rest after the trip

Anne: of course, ma'am

/ Curtsy /

( Charlotte and William went to their bedchamber, William just flopped down the bed while Charlotte sat for a moment in her working desk )

( But then Charlotte remembered that it is Eloise's debut in society tomorrow )

Charlotte: oh, goodness!

William: what? Wha-- what is it?

Charlotte: it's Eloise's debut tomorrow

William: you should rest first, love I can't even move my back, write to your mother that you can't attend, tell her we'll come after 2 days

Charlotte: alright

( Charlotte quickly wrote a letter to her mother as quickly as possible before she falls asleep very deeply )

Dear Mother,

I am very sorry if I can't attend Eloise's debut tomorrow, we just returned back from a 1 month trip to Denmark and Scotland, were still pretty tired from the trip. Maybe after 2 days we could visit London again with the children, again my apologies Mama and please deliver my congratulations to Eloise.

( After Charlotte wrote the letter she called a maid to deliver it )

Charlotte: ugh, finally I can sleep properly

( And they both fell asleep very deeply )

/ 2 days have passed /

( Charlotte and William are getting ready to leave for London, the children were suppose to come but their grandparents Prince Archie and Countess Eugene payed a visit to see their grandchildren )

- Drawing room -

( The children were playing when Prince Archie and Countess Eugene entered the room )

Harriet: ha! Granny! Grandpa!
Charlie: Gan-gan! Gampa!
Edmund: Grandpa! Granny!

( The children screamed as they gave them a hug )

Prince Archie: ugh... How much I've missed the three of you

Eugene: it's been quite a while

Charlotte: Archie, Eugene

Eugene: Charlotte dear, still very stunning

Archie: dearest, where's William by the way?

Charlotte: oh, he's readying his stuff

Archie: for what?

Charlotte: where heading off to London, I missed my sister's debut yesterday and I feel bad

Eugene: is the children coming as well?

Charlotte: yes, actually--

Harriet: I want to stay with granny and grandpa

Edmund: me too

Charlie: me! Me!

( Charlie said while raising his hand )

Charlotte: is it okay? If the children stay with you?

Archie: of course, it's okay, we don't want to miss the growth of these munchkins

Eugene: they want to spend time with their grandparents before we can't run anymore

Charlotte: thank you so much, I'll just send you a letter if they need to go to London

Eugene: sure, dear

William: The carriage is ready!

( William screamed as he entered the room )

William: oh, I didn't expect you to come here

Eugene: Archie and I wanted to spend time with the little ones

Archie: we insisted

William: I love how you want to spend time with them but we have to go to london--

Charlotte: they're staying, love, they wanted to stay with them

William: really?

Archie: really.

Butler: the carriages are waiting, your graces

William: ah, yes, we'll be out in a moment

Charlotte: goodbye, children, behave yourselves okay?

( " Okay " they responded )

William: bye, bye, bye

( He kissed them one by one in their foreheads )

William: bye, mom, dad

Archie: bye, have a safe trip

Eugene: goodbye, we'll have fun

( And they left for London )
