( Charlotte let the children change since they were all dirty from playing outside all morning. And they are late to welcome the guests )
Charlotte: Come now, children, the guests has already arrived.
( They went outside where everybody was )
Violet: ah, there she is
Lady Danbury: Your grace! How wonderful is to see you
Charlotte: it's also wonderful to see you again lady Danbury
Lady Danbury: Your grace, allow me to introduce you to the Sharma's. This is lady Mary
Lady Mary: your grace, pleasure to meet you, these are my daughters, Kate Sharma my eldest and Edwina Sharma my youngest
Charlotte: lovely to see you again. Oh, and these are my children, Harriet 4, Edmund 3, and my youngest Charlie who just turned 1
Harriet: nice to meet you, lady Mary
Lady Mary: pleasure to meet you as well
Kate: they are wonderful children, your grace
Charlotte: thank you
Edwina: lovely children, your grace
Charlotte: thank you, Miss Edwina
Violet: well, now, you must be weary from your travels. Mrs. Wilson. Please show our guests to their rooms so they might get refreshed.
Eloise: and ready for battle.
Charlotte: Mm, indeed.
( The Sharma's unpacked their things, and they are gathered outside to play the Bridgertons traditional game )
Colin: let's toss a coin.
Eloise: last, year we promised to let the youngest pick first.
Anthony: we pick based on alphabetical order.
Benedict: that's the precedent.
Charlotte: everyone, please, now. The only fair thing to do is to let our invited guests choose their mallets and strike first.
Anthony: please, take your pick, Miss Edwina.
( She picked the blue mallet )
Anthony: an excellent, choice.
( Then it was Kate's turn and she picked the mallet of death which belongs to Anthony )
Eloise: The mallet of death.
Benedict: would you look at that, brother?
Kate: is this yours?
Anthony: not at all, you're welcome to it.
Colin: you threatened to beat me last time I touched--
Anthony: you exaggerate.
Kate: are you the superstitious sort? I know some men cannot perform without their familiar tools. Like a child with a blanket.
( The siblings chuckled as they heard what Kate said )
Anthony: I can play perfectly well with any mallet. I wish you the best of luck.
Eloise: are we to stand around deliberating all day, or shall we play?
( Then they all raced to get their mallets, Anthony was the last one to get and he was left with the pink mallet )
Daphne: to the field of combat!
( Then they all started playing )
( Anthony was losing )
Eloise: ha!, Rather unfortunate.
( And Kate was leading )
Charlotte: nice shot, Miss Sharma
Kate: thank you, your grace
( They continued playing )
Daphne: oh, what luck!
( Not until Kate's ball and Anthony's are next to each other )
Eloise: you have the chance to best him.
Benedict: that would not be very sportsmanlike, would it?
Kate: I was told unsportsmanlike conduct was a requirement for this game.
Charlotte: A fast learner you are indeed, Miss Sharma.
Kate: what do you say, my Lord? Are you in a losing mood?
Anthony: my mood shall remain unchanged, regardless of your choice.
Kate: ah, is that so? You would bravely bear the crushing shame of defeat?
Edwina: play pleasant, Didi.
Anthony: Not to worry, Miss Edwina. In light of my brothers' and sisters' tactics, Miss Sharma conducts herself with much grace indeed.
Kate: huh, then you shall not mind this.
( Then she hit her ball real hard that Anthony's balm went straight into the forest )
Daphne: well done!
Eloise: I knew I liked her.
Benedict: Miss Edwina, it's your turn
( But she has bested )
Edwina: I am bested, I see
Daphne: you could still retrieve your ball if you wish to stay in the game.
Edwina: I think I shall cut out.
( Anthony followed her and talked to her )
Benedict: ugh. I missed it.
( Colin hit Kate's ball to the forest as well )
Anthony: oh, what a shot, brother!
Colin: yes! What a shame. You two better go fetch them. Unless you would like to quit, here and now?
Kate: absolutely not.
Anthony: After you.
( Then they walked fast together to fetch their balls )
( But Charlotte noticed something between the two of them )
