I was napping when I heard the door swing open. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes
"What happened to knocking"
"Mum wants you to clean my room"
Areum said and I chuckled
" What happened to you"I replied smiling
" I just got my nails done i can't ruin them" She said and showed me her nails
" Do you get your nails done everyday because I've never seen you clean up your room yourself" I said and stood up from the bed
" Are you going to clean it or do I have to tell mum" She said and I scoffed
"Go ahead do whatever you like i don't care" I replied and took some clothes out of my wardrobe
"Fine I'm going to tell mum....."
She was interrupted by Ara who walked in
" What's going on here"
She asked Areum
"Would you tell this rat here to go clean up my room" Areum said and Ara glared at her
" Are you out of your senses, who do you think you're calling a rat, she's our elder sister you can't talk to her like that, and it's your room not hers so clean it up, now get out before I hit you" Ara commanded and Areum went out grumbling
" You know you'll get in trouble for that right" I told Ara and she chuckled
" I don't care, and where are you off to" she asked as she sat on my bed
" I'm going to work of course I have the afternoon shift"
I replied as I dressed up
" Oh okay then, when you're ready let me know so I can drop you off okay"
She and I just smiled at her.
Just then my step-mom and Areum came in
"How dare you disobey my order and make my baby cry"
She yelled and I just rolled my eyes
" Mum please stop Areum was the one being rude" Ara tried to defend me
"Will you keep quiet, now as for you y/n you are going to clean that room or no food for you today"She threatened
" Suit yourself"I replied as I took my bag from my bed and walked out
"What the...... y/n come back here, right now,y/n, y/n"
She kept calling but I just ignored her and went out.
I got to work and met my best friends Jennie and Jackson
"What took you so long" they both asked
"Sorry step-mom problem"I replied and they rolled their eyes
" Ugh I hate that lady" Jennie grunted
"Not more than i do"Jackson added and I chuckled
" I told you to come live with me, my mom would be happy to let you stay"
Jennie said and I smiled
" No thanks I'm okay, don't worry, now let's get to work before boss catches us talking "I said and we all rushed in to change to our uniforms.
