"Finally." Miranda said. "Finally I got all of you right where I want you."
"Daisy, what the ****?!" Caleb said.
"What?" Daisy said with a smile on her face. "You think I WANTED to help you morons? Ha! Don't make me laugh. My allegiance is with Miranda, so after the volcano incident, I went out and found Miranda on the other side of the magma field. I stole some of Lexie's precious medical supplies to heal her. And then we met....someone else."
"Who, may I ask, did you meet?" Lexie said, absolutely furious.
Before she could answer, Dallas, after days of not being able to wake up, looked up his head, and saw the faint silhouettes of his friends.
All of Lexie's anger instantly took a vacation upon noticing Dallas' awakened state.
"Dallas?" she said to him.
"L-Lexie...." he said very faintly.
"What happened?"
"I-I don't know...."
"Aw. Finally awake." said another voice.
This voice wasn't Miranda's, or Daisy's.
But it was a voice that the three knew very, very well.
Before anyone could react, two dead bodies were thrown in front of Dallas. And he knew exactly who they were. Even if it wasn't easy to see, his tears covered his face. He held his siblinds close to his chest and cried. He then looked up to the sky, at the raging winds, the blackened sky, and the raindrops plummeting to the earth.
"I-I knew....I should have n-never....trusted you....Keara."
"Keara?!" said Lexie and Caleb.
Keara stood behind the two other girls with an intense, and infuriating look that pierced through them.
"Feels bad doesn't it, Dallas?" said Keara. "That feeling when you can never do anything right."
"Shut up!" said Lexie. "You don't talk to him!"
"You don't talk to me either, or I'll rip your hair out again!"
"Keara, everyone knows you were in the wrong during that!" said Caleb.
"Lexie threw the first punch!"
"Yeah, but if you kept your **** mouth shut, she wouldn't have had to, *****." said Dallas.
Keara instantly hit him across the head and he fell over.
"Shut your mouth!" Keara said. "But I guess I should congratulate you. You proved me wrong then when I said you'd never got together with her."
Lexie had enough of her running her mouth and drew her gun and aimed it at her head.
"You. Shut. Up." she said.
Keara just grinned as Miranda and Daisy pulled guns out at them.
"Where did you get those?" Caleb said.
"Oh. Well, the feast happened a few days ago. Guess you guys were too far out."
Lexie then pulled her gun down and looked Keara square in the eyes.
"You and me. One on one."
"You wanna get beat again?" Keara said. "Be my guest."
"Lexie this isn't the greatest-" Caleb attempted to say.
"No." Lexie said quickly. "I need to do this by myself. You and Dallas just stay back."
The two girls dropped their weapons and enagaged in a fight in the middle of them all. Dallas and Caleb, respecting Lexie's wishes, did their best to stay out of it.
Lexie had the advantage. Every time Keara hit once, Lexie returned it tenfold. Eventually, after a few minutes, Lexie had Keara on the floor, and began to punch her head relentlessly.
"Doesn't feel good, does it?!" Lexie said in anger.
Bam!
Bam!
Lexie stopped. Her shoulders had bullet holes right through them. Miranda and Daisy smirked as they dropped their guns.
She fell off of Keara in pain. Keara then grabbed a knife from her pocket.
"You cheated...." Lexie said.
"What did you expect." Keara said.
Miranda felt a tap on her shoulder.
"I don't tolerate cheaters." Said Dallas as he cut her stomach with his knife.
Miranda screamed in pain and Caleb instantly went to attack Daisy, who began to run away. This chaos distracted Keara, which gave Lexie and opportunity to steal her knife and stab her. Keara got up in pain, and pulled the knife out, throwing it away. The two then once again engaged in combat.
Caleb had caught up to Daisy. He picked her up by her hair and swung her into the three as hard as he could. He did it again, and again, until Daisy was an edge away from death.
"We are trying to save you idiots! Why are you fighting us!" Caleb said.
"Well, in this world, we have no laws, no family to tell us what to do, and here, we finally get a chance at revenge against you all! What's not to love?"
Caleb pulled his gun and aimed it at her head.
"I'm sorry, but I hate it here. And if getting us home makes YOU upset, well, that's a win-win for me."
"Go to Hell, Caleb."
Caleb laughed softly.
"I was BORN in Hell."
And then he shot her dead.
Dallas and Miranda were engaged in a fight with knives and guns. Dallas felt blood, tears, sweat, and the everlasting feeling of burning lava around him.
So THIS is how they feel. He thought.
Gunshots, bullet wounds, stab wounds, they showed up everyone on both of them. They both gree exhausted from this long fight. But still they kept going.
Dallas then had an idea. He pulled his blood soaked jacket off and threw it at her face. He took this time to get a clean shot to her chest and her legs. He pulled his jacket off and kicked her to the tree. She sat there almost motionless. Dallas had already put his jacket back on.
"Y-You cheated." Said Miranda.
Dallas began to laugh maniacally. His eyes once again seemed to have a demonic red glow seering off of them.
"How ironic. The cheater does not like when the Uno reverse card is played on her."
Dallas then got close to her. Uncomfortably close. He had pulled put his push knife, a weapons Miranda knew very well, thanks to him.
"Say hi to Death for me before you come back."
Then he stabbed her.
And he stabbed her again.
And again.
And again.
Until all of his built up anger was gone, transferred into her beyond dead corpse.
He slowly got up, and then remembered something.
Lexie.
He ran back to where Lexie and Keara were. Caleb was also there. The two girls were at a stalemate for the longest time. Keara suddenly dropped to the floor, which confused everybody. She then kicked at the back of Lexie's knees, making her fall. Keara got up immidiately with a gun in hand and held her down.
The two guys were shocked. They couldn't do anything now or else Lexie would die.
"Now, how about we relive an old memory, just a tad bit different."
She gave Lexie her gun but held her hands in place.
"You know what I'm going to ask."
They ALL knew what she wanted. Either Caleb, or Dallas dead. All three didn't know what to do.
Then an idea came to mind. Caleb motioned softly to Lexie to shoot him, and that he had an idea. Keara noticed nothing. Lexie was hesitant, but then saw what was on his back.
A shield. It must have been on the entire time, and she just didn't notice. Dallas then saw what Caleb was doing, and nodded in agreement.
Bam!
The shot was fired, Caleb immidiately turned around, and the bullet ricocheted off of the shield at the perfect angle, and hit Keara square in the head. Lexie fell over, and Keara landed on her back.
No last words.
She was dead.
Lexie slowly got up and ran to the two. She then hugged Caleb.
"Thank you." She said.
"Of course." He replied.
They hugged for a while and then let go. Dallas then approched Caleb.
"I forgive you, my best friend."
He then hugged Caleb as well. They too, also hugged for quite a bit.
"Hey, where's my hug, Dallas?" Lexie said.
"Right here." Dallas said.
Then those two hugged for a while as well.
"You know what, why don't we just all group hug???" Caleb said.
The three laughed.
"That's a pretty good idea." the two others said.
Then the three all hugged together. The moment lasted a long time until the thunder and wind began to get louder and stronger.
"Guys!" Said Kelsey as she ran to them. "You've been gone for so long I thought something happened!"
"We're okay, don't worry." said Dallas.
Dallas then took Lexie's medical bag and tended to her, himself, and Caleb.
"Hey!" Said Kevin.
All of a sudden, they heard a crack in the wind. And then another. Turning behind them, trees fell all across the road behind them, and seperated them from Kevin. Kesley yelled his name.
"I'll find another way around!" He said.
But then, more trees began to fall, and he had to run away in the opposite direction to avoid getting crushed.
"What do we do now?" Kelsey said.
They all slowly turned their heads. The lightning strike illuminated the wall. The end of their journey was just over the behemoth.
"There's only one thing we can do." Said Dallas.
"Go forward."
