1. Ace- BodyGuard

Lacent, the last name you've carried since birth has caused so many issues in your life it was sometimes unbearable. Who knew a name could get you into so much trouble?

A sigh escapes you lips, you were almost kidnapped again today. Thirteen years old and you've had over thirty assassination attempts on your life, and over fifty kidnappings. It would have been fifty six if your new body guard hadn't been there.

Ace.

When you first meet him you didn't think he was all that strong. The information they gave you seemed so odd.

An strong eighteen year old fireball, is the summary of it all. A man, no a boy, who just turned eighteen a few months ago, who you had to admit had a fantastically built body. He also is one of those people who were born with strange abilities, no ability has ever coexisted twice at the same time, and this guy just so happened to have fire.

When your father introduced you to him he gave you a large grin, his cheeks littered in adorable freckles. He had dark hair that covered the top of his head in slight dark waves. He was definitely handsome, you didn't deny that.

"Yo, I'm Ace!" He greets you when your father leaves to go about his business. You give him a polite smile, how could this guy protect you, sure he has muscles but he's still just a kid. Says the thirteen year old.

"I'm (Name)." You said softly, his grin widens a bit and he looks around. You two were standing in the lobby of one of your fathers business buildings. You hated being here so without much of a warning to your new guard you turn on your heels and walk out the front door. Ace follows after you, glancing around a bit.

"Sooo where to?" He asks, catching up to you and following into step beside you. You hum under your breath and think for a moment, he glances at you when you don't answer immediately.

"The park, I guess." You said with a shrug, it's been awhile since you've appeared publicly after the last attempt on your life. Ace doesn't respond as the both of you continue walking.

It takes about fifteen minutes of walking to reach the park, it was a small one, maybe you should have taken a cab and went to the larger one on the other side of town. You spot the playground and walk towards a vacant swing. Ace leans against the swing set as you slowly swing back and forth.

"Is this what you normally do all day?" Ace asks after thirty minutes of silence, you begin to wonder if he's bored.

"Well no, it's been awhile since I've been outside...so I just want to...is that bad?" You ask him and he thinks for a moment before shaking his head.

"No I guess not..." He says before walking behind you and grabbing the swings chains. You were confused at first until he started to push you. You were moving much faster than before and you start to giggle. Ace smiles when you start laughing, you were such a cute kid to him.

"You know, you remind me of Luffy a bit.." He says when he notices the mischievous look on your face as you looked towards the ice cream stand a few yards away. You glance at him and grin.

"Who's that?" You ask him as he pushes you a little higher.

"My brother. He's two years older than you." He says, grabbing the swing, making you stop. You pout a bit and he grins at you.

"Ice cream?" He asks and you grin up at him and nod. You pull out your wallet and hand him some money.

"Chocolate pleeeaaaase~ and what ever you want!" You giggled as he walks off. You liked this guard, he wasn't as stiff as the others...

"Lacent." Someone said behind you, you turn around to see into a barrel of a gun. A small scream escapes your lips as you stumble off the swing. They were about to say something when something burning collided with their chest.

"Aaauugh!" They yelled, collapsing to the ground, patting their chest trying to put out the flames. Ace was standing in front of you, you couldn't see his face from where you were, but whatever it was it made the man freeze when he made eye contact with Ace.

"Get lost." You heard Ace say, his voice wasn't carefree or nice anymore, it made you shiver a bit. The man with the gun pointed it at him and shot him. You let out a startled scream and covered your mouth as the bullets flew out of Ace's back, leaving a trail of fire where it had hit. You hear Ace sigh as the man pales and drops the gun, crawling away backwards.

"F-freak!" He yells, standing up and running away. Ace watches to make sure he really leaves before turning around to you, his wounds closing up with flames.

"You okay?" Ace asks, offering you a hand. You take it and give him a huge smile.

"That was so cool...!" You said a bit breathless, Ace looked surprised for a moment before giving you a huge grin.

"Thanks..!" He laughs a bit.

"So how about that ice cream?" He says and you nod, wrapping your arms around one of his and walk with him, you didn't wanna wait by the swings again.
