F O U R

My eyes flutter open only to have direct sunrays blind me, i groan and roll into Nathan but fall flat when my hand meets the empty sheets. I frown and peak an eye open, "Nathan?" I croak out, my morning voice forcing me to clear my throat.

I roll onto my back and stare at the ceiling, letting the feeling sink in.

I'm in Nathan's room.

In his house.

Under his sheets.

Smelling of his shampoo and soap.

A grin spreads across my lips, i almost giggle like a school girl who's just been asked out by her crush. This is it, i'm here.

I'm home.

"What's got you smiling like that? My dic-" i fling a pillow at him before he can finish his sentence "shut up" i laugh. He drops beside my head and leans down to press a chaste kiss on my lips.

"Good morning, beautiful..." he mutters, smiling down at me.

Gosh, his dimples.

This man is so beautiful it physically hurts me. "Morning" i smile back and we just stare at each other in silence for a moment. His green eyes have never been greener, his hair's a mess from me running my fingers through it and his skin is glowing.

"I know we're dating but i have the biggest school-girl crush on you" i blurt out, getting shy when he grins down at me "really? I thought it was just me" he teases, brushing his fingers through my hair "i cooked us breakfast, i'm sure you're hungry" he adds, i sit up.

"Yeah i am" i yawn, stretching and sliding out from under the covers. I fetch his t-shirt off the chair by the large windows and slip it on. "I'm going to burn all your clothes" he says, his eyes scaling up my figure.

"And why's that?" I ask, walking to his side of the bed. He pulls me to stand between his legs "because you look so good in mine i never want to see you in anything else" he admits, his large hands caressing my sides.

I chuckle "what about when i go out?" I ask, he shrugs "you never will, i'll lock you up in this penthouse and have you all to myself forever" he responds, tugging me down to sit in his lap. I straddle his legs, my arms draped over his shoulders as his encircle my waist.

"Is that so?" I counter, ghosting my lips over his. He kisses me, slow and sweet. His only response being a hum that passes between our lips.

"Okay-" i mutter against his lips, pulling away "breakfast first you little horndog" i joke, getting off him.

He let's out a childish whine but follows me out the room and down to the kitchen.

The last time i was in here was the morning after danielle showed up and i threw my shoe at Nathan, i smile at the memory.

I never got the chance to take in how beautifully decorated this place really is, especially during the day when the sun is out and shining in through the glass walls.

"I made waffles, there's fresh fruit, whipped cream and coffee. I wasn't sure what you'd want" Nate says, rounding the center island where he's laid out everything.

"You know.." i trail off, smiling a little. I don't know why i'm smiling, what i'm thinking of isn't anything to smile about. "The morning you were supposed to come home after visiting your mum and i smelt coffee brewing.." His face falls, he looks at me "Anna" he says sternly.

"I thought it was you in the kitchen..." i admit, laughing at how ridiculous it was.

"I'm sorry i wasn't there" i shake my head "it's not your fault, but i don't want us to be talking about this right now" he nods, smiling ever so slightly "me neither, oh-" he sips his coffee "-i invited everyone over for lunch", i look at him over the rim of my mug "define everyone?" He sighs "mike, mon, gen, steph, pierce and my mother" i wince "already?" He sighs "yeah, i need 6 witnesses in case she hacks me with my kitchen knife" i chuckle.
