Chapter 22- time goes by fast

Lizete's pov*

I sat in the waiting room of the doctors office waiting for my scan to see the gender of my unborn child. I was about 20 weeks, my mother sat beside me she was more supportive than Cristiano; I understand he HAS to train but I do to. "Lizete Calisto" the nurse called as me and my mother began to head towards the room.
I laid on the cold bed as the doctor raised my shirt, he started to place the ultrasound gel on my stomach.
"Is your pregnancy going well?" The doctor asked as I looked up at the screen "yes it has." I felt very shy talking to doctors or strangers.
"very well, well are you ready to see the gender of your baby?" Asked the doctor. "Yes!" I exclaimed I really wish Cristiano was here.. It's hard to have no support from him besides at home.

"The gender of your baby is.., a girl" the doctor exclaimed as he had a big smile on his face.

My mother was super excited so was I aswell. The doctor began to clean my stomach and gave me the ultrasound photos.

I couldn't wait to show cristiano. Even though I didn't want the baby, I'm excited for it.

I arrived back at the house, the lights were all off, creaks were coming from upstairs my heart began to slowly stop "if this fucker is cheating on me." I ran up the stairs swinging opened the door I sighed in relief it was just Cristiano and Junior.
"hello!" I yelled as I placed my bag beside the bed.
"how was the scan." Cristiano asked as he paused the movie
"It was wonderful, I have the gender" i said as I grinned to Cristiano.
"What's the gender!" Cristiano jumped up in excitement
I took the pictures out of my pocket and handed them to Cristiano, junior tried peeking his head over Cristiano's shoulder to see the scan.
"and how's the little man!" I asked as I rant hand through juniors hair

"good!" Junior exclaimed as he had a big smile on his face.

"were having a girl.." Cristiano said as his voice croaked
I bit my lip and nodded I held my stomach as Cristiano hugged me. "I can't wait." He whispered in my ear and laid back down.

Junior and Cristiano fell asleep I finished watching 'how to train your dragon' I turned the tv off and say there on my phone. I took a quick picture of Cristiano and junior
"movie night❤️☺️ @Cristiano" and posted it on Instagram. I rolled over pulling up the covers and went to sleep.

Cristiano's pov*
I woke up early hearing Lizete snore quietly it was really adorable. I quickly changed into shorts and my track jacket I grabbed my bag and headed to practice

"Hey guys," I said as I walked into the change room.
"Where's Lizete?" Asked Marcelo as he slid his shin pads on
"she can't play for awhile." I replied as I hanged up my bag
"Why?!" The entire team asked
"Shit I forgot to tell You guys, Lizete's pregnant" i said as I span on my heel looking directly at them.

"yo! Lizete's pregnant congrats bro." Marcelo yelled as the rest of the team congratulated our announcement.

Gareth kept quiet I kept getting dirty looks from Gareth during practice. Gareth and I were close, but not as close as me and Marcelo.

Lizete's Pov
I made my way downstairs seeing junior watching tv. "Morning" I smiled to him, he looked exactly like Cristiano except more adorable.
"Mwring" he smiled he didn't pronounce 'morning' right but I didn't mind it because it was too darn cute.
I started to make eggs and bacon for our breakfast.
I started to set the table, it was really quiet without Cristiano around. Junior was amazed as he watched 'how to train your dragon 2'. My mom looked sicker and sicker each day. Hopefully she'll be there when my baby is born.
I called junior to the table as I started to nibble on my bacon. Junior look adorable while he ate, his brown curly hair was sticking out in some places; he looked like a very happy kid. I heard the door swing open, i reacted quickly and got up. "I'm home" Cristiano yelled "how's practice?" I asked as I placed my plate in the dishwasher "boring, except I kept getting dirty looks from Gareth because I told the team you were pregnant." Said Cristiano my heart began to beat faster, Gareth and I kissed.. I couldn't tell Cristiano because he would immediately kill Gareth.
"I know why.." I began to speak
"know what?" Cristiano asked as he sat down beside junior "Gareth and I.." I knew this was a mistake but I got to be opened to Cristiano
"You and Gareth what?" Cristiano raised his voice a little and stood up walking towards me.
"We u-um kissed." I sighed as Cristiano's hands where instant fist.
He didn't yell, but there was anger and sadness in his brown eyes. "when did this happen." Cristiano asked
"When we were fighting.." My voice started to crack, felt so guilty for what I did. Cristiano shoved me out of the way and went upstairs. I stood there frozen junior was watching the entire thing. "Are you okway?" Asked junior as he stood infront of me
"no, but I will be I guess" i said as I kneeled down in front of junior, junior wrapped his arms around be comforting me. Junior was nothing like his dad. We broke the hug "I'll be right back okay bud?" I smiled as I got up and headed towards the door.
"Okay"
