Yvette had to literally pull me away from the canvas. It was my baby of pain, and I felt it along with it. I had scarred the pain into it. She had said we had to get my phone just to get me out of the apartment. It was raining outside and I didn't want to go out.
"Remember that hot guy you made out with?" she asked, "Don't you want to call him?" The sad thing was, I didn't feel up to it. Maybe later, but I wanted to mope, and cry. I didn't tell her that though.
"Fine," I said. I pulled out a dark blue hoodie and pulled the hood over my head. She raised her eyebrow at me. It's my time of the month and I'm miserable. I'm emotionally confused and I deserve to be in bed for a day.
"Don't make yourself more miserable, you've been deprived of a cell phone anyway, Come," she said, grabbing my wrist taking me downstairs. I stubbornly followed, and she took me to a store I didn't even see the name of, it looked orangish though, and I really wasn't in the mood for a tropical color.
"Bleh,"I said, sticking my tongue out. "Look at the phones please. I'm sorry your in a bad mood, but you have to get something, and we have to figure out a plan. I picked up the first phone I saw, it was navy blue with a keyboard on it, and I said "I found one. It has a camera." I said, turning it over, and seeing that it has a lens. She rolled her eyes and said "Are you serious?" I looked at the tools, and it had everything I wanted.
"Yup" I said.
It took forever to set up the plan. Once we were walking out, Yvette nudged me. I looked at her an she didn't even have to say anything. I groaned, and put his number in my phone as we walked home.
"Well, are you going to call him?" she asked him. "Well then, fine." I said, nudging her. I called the number he wrote on my hand, and he immediately picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Caleb it's Wiley, you know the girl from the bar." I said, in case he forgot.
"Oh, hey, you want to meet up in about an hour? At the bar?" he asked, I couldn't really read the tone in his voice, if it was desperate or worried.
"Sure," I said, "I'll be there!"
"Cool, see you there. Bye,"
"Bye." I said, hanging up, and turning to her, and saying, "I've got a date!" She smiled, and patted my shoulder.
"There's the Wiley I know and love!" she said, and I side-hugged her. I wanted to run home, but I needed Yvette. I still don't know my way around. I don't even know how we got here, I kinda was just along for the ride. Not now, I wanted to get home, and get ready.
"So can we walk a little faster?" I asked, skipping ahead. She laughed and said "You are really interested in this guy, huh? Why did you make me stick my foot up your ass to have you call him?"
"Well Maybe I'm just stubborn." I said, she grabbed onto my shoulder laughing.
"Damn right you are, girl." she said. I smiled, and I stuck out my toungue at her teasingly. Then, I saw the corner we cross to get to the house, so I grabbed her wrist and ran.
"I have to get ready!" I yelled, rushing her to the door. I didn't have a key yet, so she intimidated me by turning the key very slowly. I became super impatient and screamed "TURTLE! Turtles are faster than you!" she laughed, then turned the key. I ran upstairs, and went through my bag and pulled out my ruffled blue shirt and my miss me jeans I got from the thrift store. I threw it all on, and a pair of black pumps. I looked outside and it was still raining. I threw on a black fringed scarf, and a violet beret. Just the right color to go with my top. I ran out the door, saying a quick "bye" to Yvette, who was eating chips on the couch, watching TV.
As I walked in the bar, I didn't see him. I looked around, and saw an even more handsome man than Caleb, and I mean hot, but I was good. I only asked him, "Excuse me, have you seen a man with brown hair, tanish skin?" I asked.
"Is that him?" he said, pointing to Caleb, making out with an obviously happy brunette. Not thinking, I went over there, and pushed the brunette away from him.
"YOU, think you can do that to me? I AM NOT the type of girl who puts up with this shit." I say pointing to him.
"Wiley?! You're early, um," he mumbled. I rolled my eyes.
"You...ass." I said, wanting to kick his ass. I grabbed a drink from the bar and poured it on his hair. The hot guy from earlier punched him, I looked up to him.
"Why did you do that? You don't even know me?" I asked.
"Beautiful girls like you shouldn't have to do the work." he said. I liked this guy already. "Want to take a walk?" he asked, I nodded, then he led me outside.
Guess Caleb wasn't the guy for her, but who's this, oooohhhhh!!!! hehe
I love anyone who reads this and please comment if you like it! Thank you!
