“Doc,are you done? 5 minutes from now, proceed na po tayo sa backstage for standby.” rinig kong tanong ng babae mula sa labas ng dressing room na paniguradong production staff.
“I’ll be right there in a minute.” Mahinahong tugon ko habang inaayos ang damit. I am wearing white temperament squareneck double- breasted long sleeved short top and white ruffled stitching skirt.
By the way, I am here for an interview. This actually a talk show about life. They ask you questions about how you achieved the things and status that you have and etc.
“Madam, you have an incoming call. Si Sir William po.” ani Trisha na assistant ko sabay abot ng phone. I immediately answered the call.
“ Hi Yanna. How are you?” tanong ng nasa kabilang linya.
“ At bakit ngayon ka lang tumawag? Nag-aalala si Tita sayo, alam mo ba yun?!” inis na sagot ko. Gago kasi ‘to. Walang kwenrta magplano.
“Sorry naman, dinala ko sa Casa Vista Mare si Dreyya.”
“Alam ko. Pinalocate kayo ni Tita Victorina, buti nalang pinigilan siya ni Kuya Alex, king hindi baka bugbog sarado kana diyan ng mga tauhan ni Governor.”
“Nakapag-paalam naman na ako kay Alex—”
“Pero di ka nagpaalam sa magulang, William! What are you even thinking?! Nag-aalala yung nanay oh!” putol ko.Nakakainis kasi, alam niya namang may mga mahulang yung tao, sa kuya nagpaalam.
“Uuwi naman kami diyan next month, I’ll just make it up to them.” Oh diba isang malaking red flag.
“Whatever, Labas ako diyan, Gagamutin ko nalang ang mga sugat at pasa mo pagkatapos.Siguradong puputok yang kilay mo sa mga suntok ni Governor. Sige na, may interview ako ngayon, mamaya nalang tayo mag-usap.”
“Okay. Have fun!” di na ako tumugon pa at pinatay na lamang ang tawag. Ni hindi man lang kinabahan kung ano ang aabutin niya pag-uwi.
“ Madam, tayo na po.” My assistant said. Pumunta na ako sa backstage para I- receive ang questions para sa interview.
What a busy day. May meeting pa ako with the board of directors mamaya.
While was going through the paper, one of the production staff came to me. “Doc, akyat na po tayo.” Sabay turo sa stage. Agad naman akong umakyat.
I was greeted by Shaira and Lyra who are the host of the show. “ Hi, Doc! Wow, you look so gorgeous today! “ said Lyra.
“Super pretty niyo po sa personal, Doc! Sa magazine at billboard ko lang po kayo nakikita dati, pero I can’t believe I’m going to interview you today.” ani Shaira while shaking my hands.
“ Nice meeting you. You are also beautiful. Thank you for having me today.” I responded.
5 minutes have passed ng matapos kami mag-usap ng host magsa start ang ang broadcast ng show.They are doing their retouch, and I am on my phone, scrolling on Twitter and a message popped up on my screen.
