I ran, fast and fiercely like a bolt of lightning. My feet were silent against the leafs of the forest as I dodged familiar trees. Then I saw it, a giant mountain lion stalking its prey, unaware it was making the same. I jumped making a loud growl deep in my throat. It turned at the last minute, shocked. I was the last thing it saw before its limp and drained dead body hit the forest floor.

"I'm home" I called to the silent air of my home, though I knew everyone was home, I smelt and sensed them.

"Hello" Carlisle greets me "how did hunting go, no humans right"

"No dad, no humans, just one mountain lion" I responded, shocked I was over 100 years old and he still doubted that I held with our vegetarian diet.

"Alright now, shouldn't you do your homework?"

"you know dad I hear its gonna be sunny out"

he chuckled "we live in forks Bella, you can't try that excuse everyday"

"ya ya I know"

"Hey Bella"Alice, my sister, said as she danced in, she always seemed to light up the room.

"Hey, wheres Jasper?" I asked noticing his missing presence, he usually always tagged along behind Alice.

"He had to go hunting, come on we are going to go pick outfits out for school tomorrow." I groaned I was never into fashion. Not even in my human life, Alice knew this, she just didnt seem to care.

"do not worry you pain, I will pick out the cutest outfit, I can already see it! literally!"

The rest of the night I spent with Alice playing barbie until she deemed

me ready and we all jumped in my silver volvo. On the way to school me, Alice, and Jasper talked about things like hunting this weekend. Rose and Emmett stayed home, having graduated from forks high school last year. The first half of the school wasn't out of the ordinary at all until lunch when I look over to see a new boy being led around by Jessica, a girl who always tried to talk to me. New boy stared right at me until finally I looked away breaking our staring contest. He was beautiful but it wasn't his looks that brought me in, it was his smell. He smelt amazing, I had never wanted to bite a person more. The rest of lunch I spent fake listening to my siblings arguing while eavesdropping into new boy and his friend conversation . After lunch I walked into science and sat in my normal seat and stared ahead waiting for class to start while everyone else talked. Then new boy walked in. He stood right in front of the big fan and stared right at me. I couldn't take the delightful smell and the feeling of desire. I cringed and cover my nose trying to keep my self from getting up and biting him. He looked hurt, his beautiful face set in a subtle pout. He walked up to the teacher who signed his pass and pointed to the only empty seat. beside me.
